I bought a condo in Clearwater Florida but it needed some updating. I needed the cabinets painted from a maple brown to white and I also wanted to change my family room paint from brown to gray. I contacted Richard Libert and he gave me a very reasonable quote. I also had some concerns about a bathroom shower that had outdated tile and was a total eyesore. Richard offered to refinish the interior of the shower with a white polymer that he promised would totally Rejuvenate the look. I was hesitant to hire anyone since I live in Chicago, but Richard Libert put me at ease over the phone so

Richard and crew painted our bungalow in June. All was well -- as reflected in my previous review --until September when the paint started bubbling on 3 sides of our house and garage. It took two months of calling and emails until Richard came to see the problem -- he felt it was likely because the house was wet in spots when it was painted. (There were showers throughout the period when the house was painted.) After another month of trading calls, we agreed on a time for Richard's team to come to fix the problem when we were out of town -- we contacted him to confirm. No response. We returned

Richard took great care in painting my new home. He came back later to fix scratches, patch up holes, and make things as good as new. He also patched up some chips in the bathtub after it was just reglazed. His professional and friendly attitude came through even during evenings when he went out of his way to come by after dealing with other contracts. The whole process was relatively painless, given the original state of my walls. I recommend Richard to anyone in need of a painter. He's trustworthy and reliable!

I experienced this guys workmanship in October of 2016. He and his crew painted the interior of our entire house. The quality of the work was subpar. I wouldn't let this guy paint an outhouse! He took advantage of our bad situation and both he and his wife were rude and unreasonable. He was never on time....not even the day of the estimate. That should have been my first clue.

If I could give him and his crew 0 Stars, I would.
