We needed to replace our over 25+ year old air conditioner after it died during a heat wave. I was suffering. It was 98 degrees in my house. My pets were starting to look like stuffed animals. I called Elite. This was Friday the beginning of Labor Day weekend. I thought it was just the thermostat. It was alot more. Mr. Obeid worked so hard in 112 degree heat to fix it all before nightfall and more heat and surrounding fires. This company was amazing. Called these guys to fix a damaged A/C unit for one of my tenants. Took a while to get a hold of them and get them to the property. The A/C had gotten damaged during landscaping and their initial estimate to fix it was pretty outrageous. After assessing the problem it turned out it was just the copper pipe for the gas line that had gotten bent, but it still cost $500 to fix, which my handyman said was a ripoff. I don't know about their air systems, they might be good. But their workers are awful, or at least the one I encountered on the road today. This man was driving so erratically I was surprised he was even hired by a place that requires you to be a considerate driver.

Miles from Elite Air came out to give us an estimate on air conditioning for our home. Our house is 2-stories so we needed a unit for upstairs and one for downstairs. Miles recommended two 4-ton units. We also needed to replace the existing furnaces and ducts in the attic and below the house. Miles recommended that we place the units on the side of the house, stack them and use the slim line model to maintain the 5' minimum distance between property lines. Just had my upstairs living room installed with a Mitsubishi floor console system. Excellent work by Alex once again! He found a creative way to get us AC upstairs when there weren't many options! They provided an estimate to install a whole house fan. They showed up on time for the estimate and were professional.
Unfortunately, their estimate included items that were not needed to install the appliance. Their estimate was more expensive to just to install a quietcool fan (which had already been purchased by the homeowner for ~ $1500) than another companies estimate that included the a more expensive larger quietcool fan and installation.
Perhaps they just had no experience with this type of appliance and inflated the installation to make sure they did not loose money on the job?

Elite Air and Miles were recommended by a neighbor who did a floor furnace upgrade to a full HVAC system. Elite Air installed two AC units to our existing heating system and upgraded all the ducting. Miles and his team did a great job and always cleaned up at the end of the day. They keep you informed of their progress on a timely basis and take a lot of pride in their workmanship. The customer service of Elite Air, Inc. is extraordinary. Our air conditioner went out on a Friday night and the VP of the Service Department, Greg Ching, was able to squeeze us into his busy schedule the next day in between other HVAC jobs. He was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable. He got right to work and was able to resolve our problem in less than 30 minutes!!! Elite Air has done a couple of big jobs for my house in the past 2 years- one was a complete reducting of the house with the addition of dual zones, and the other was to add a new AC system, mounted to the roof. The first job went through without a snag, but the AC unit turned out to be a bigger deal than either of us suspected, and extended well beyond the estimate (not all his fault, as the city had something to do with it). After talking to a few HVAC companies that install equipment that gets inferior ratings on Consumer Reports, we decided to find someone that would install highly-rated American Standard equipment. Their website listed Miles as an approved contractor, and his Yelp reviews were excellent, so we decided to ask him to bid. We are so glad we did! My family has used Elite Air since before it changed its name, for some 10 years now when Miles and Greg were the only ones running the company. Miles is fantastic about scheduling appointments and seeing that they are carried out on time and to the fulfillment of the customer's wishes and Greg is excellent at service as are their additional employees now. Miles and Greg, the owners are excellent at their jobs - Miles runs the installations and Greg runs the service department. I've met many heating and air conditioning service companies since I'm in the property management business. Miles is the BEST in installation of air conditioning and heating.
