Jeff and Angela Wolter, founded Wolter Construction in 2012, after 15 years of experience in the trade. Angela grew up in Sturgis and Jeff was a transplant from Southern California in 1999. They raised 2 children in the Black Hills and there is no place they would rather call home. We have built so many decks, we can't even count! Redwood decks are a great wood choice. Keep it protected with stain and it will last you for years. Composite decks need a little less maintenance and are a great choice if you plan and being in your house for years to come! Common deck projects are removal of old decking and handrail with new decking and a new deck handrail.

Built our garage without a permit. Did not get required inspections done. The only inspection performed was after I contacted the county and they informed me that there was no permit. They currently have 2 failed permits that were never resolved. The garage floor is a disaster. Horrible rough finish,. Framing for floor was constructed incorrectly, one side bowed out and another side had to have most of it chipped out to the correct size so the structure would fit. Snow would blow into the structure on both north corners whenever there was a storm. I was constantly catching them make mistakes. They
