I reached out to RLG and got a response right away. We had sod put in, cleaned up our patios including sunken areas thar needed repairs and expanded our front garden bed. Rick was prompt, professional and followed up at every step of the way. We are very pleased with the work. He never asked for us to write a review which SO many businesses to now. 5 stars.

If you need pavers installed, I cannot recommend RLG highly enough. Rick was super responsive and sent photos of sample pavers and patterns which was super helpful. His team showed up as promised and were friendly and conscientious and efficient. The walkway is beautiful - exactly what we wanted.
Our yard is landlocked (no alley) so all the debris had to be wheelbarrowed through a narrow gangway and then down our front walkway. For a very reasonable price, they also hauled away an appreciable amount of surplus soil that otherwise would have required us to rent a truck and schlep it who knows

We hired Rick and his team to clean up the front and side yard of our condo building, and mulch it all and we're very happy with the work and responsiveness of Rick. He responded to my initial message within 2 hours and came out to do a walk through within 5 days and quoted same night so we would be able to provide the information at our HOA meeting. And a week later the project is complete! Would highly recommend!

We had two patches of grass between our back patio and our sidewalk with a downspout coming from the house about 4 feet onto one of the grass patches. These patches broke up our patio with useless space and the downspout was a tripping hazard. We wanted our downspout buried and redirected out to the main lawn, and pavers installed where the grass was to maximize our back patio. We called RLG Landscaping and set up an appointment for a quote. Rick came out, gave us a price and an approximate start date. We agreed to the price and within 3 weeks, we had what we asked for. I was suppose to have crushed granite which was never crush I called Rick several times with no response. I finally after many emails and calls got he couldn’t do anything and could care less. He doesn’t care about the quality of work being done and I guess from set reviews of lack of response he just rushes through jobs and doesn’t complete. 3000 job I had him do and its been awful and worst customer service

I was really hoping to work with Rick because his prices were good but the inconsistent communication made me a little nervous. There were a couple times he said he was going to come by and we changed our plans to be home and he never showed or even call.
After my husband and I were honest with him about his communication he seemed to get upset and told us later he was not able to take on our project.
After weeks for preparing for him to take on our project, we are back to the drawing board to look for a new landscaper.

Was suppose to be crushed granite and be a harden to be a grill area and is a mess and just sand. He showed me pictures and looked nothing like this. I called sent messages and no response for months and then basically brushed me off saying he came out already to fix. Read reviews he was a nice guy but doesn’t stand behind work done and not responsive to concerns. Save your money and headaches

We had several landscaping businesses come to look at our yard. RLG landed in the middle price-range among the other estimates. We chose to go with RLG because Rick seemed the most knowledgeable and proactively provided solutions/alternatives when our ideas wouldn't work. My husband and I are so glad we chose them!
We had a mess of a yard. The soil only produced weeds, was shaped as a mound, and was so hard and full of rocks that it was dangerous for us to try and cut anything (I regret forgetting to take a true "before" photo, but will post a mid-progress photo for context). RLG

I waited about a year to post this review to see how things bloomed and held up after the winter and spring. RLG revamped our front landscaping and front walkway last fall and they did an amazing job. Rick was extremely responsive, quick to come by and give a quote, worked well with us, and had his guys get the job done in a timely fashion but with beautiful attention to detail. The work was done in October and they did a wonderful job -- everything held up great and my hydrangeas are now blooming beautifully. I will definitely be hiring these guys for our backyard this Fall. Do not hesitate to

Rick seems like a good dude if you can get him in person, but his communication outside of that is terrible. His quotes were vague and missing items I'd asked for. He accused my wife of calling and asking for more samples and lectured about how he wants one point of contact. My wife never contacted him but we got no apologies about that mixup. I tried one last time to reach out to get a final quote and schedule work and got ghosted so I'll find another company.

Rick and his team did an incredible job. Rick is super responsive and easy to work with; he was accommodating throughout the entire process. His team pays close attention to detail and they don't skip steps.
Rick's team put in a new concrete sidewalk in my backyard and built a new patio with fire pit and bench. It turned out beautiful and they did a great job cleaning up and keeping the rest of the yard intact.

I really was looking forward to having this company give me quote. Based off pics & reviews they seem like a great company. Me & Rick messaged back & forth on a day for him to come see my yard & give me a quote. His responses were quick. Then the day & time came for us to meet, no show & I heard nothing from him. Messaged him, called him & didn't hear anything about why he didn't show up. I even gave it a couple of days in hopes I would hear what happened but still nothing.

Rick's team did an amazing job with our patio and yard last month. They worked at lightning speed, and even went above doing some little things like weeding our garden when that wasn't even included. Rick explained everything very clearly and gave us some good ideas that we would have never thought of ourselves. The patio turned out beautiful, and if not for the smothering heat this summer, we would be out there all the time.
We gladly referred him to our neighbor, whose project he just started working on today. We'll very likely give him a call next summer for some future projects

Rick and his team are fantastic. He gave us an estimate and told us it would take approximately 4 days to finish the work. His team was so efficient that they finished it in a day and a half. You can tell by the pictures that they are perfectionists as they take a lot of pride in what they do.
We had a couple concerns about water with our patio and Rick came back to make some adjustments - no questions asked!
I definitely would recommend Rick and his team to all of my friends and family!

Rick and his team are fantastic. We started with a relatively small and very blah front yard space and now have a beautifully landscaped area with loads of curb appeal. Rick had great ideas to make the most of the space and create a beautifully balanced layout. Everything from the size and spacing of the plants and beds to the borders and sod are just perfect.

If you had asked me to write a review last year, I would have given Rick 5 stars but his behavior this year has completely eliminated any possibility of him ever being hired to do any kind of work at my house. Over the past two years, I've had Rick do probably $8k - $10k worth of work in my back yard. He built a brick patio, planted a row of tall Arborvitae trees, and then bricked a wall around the tree bed.
