Ed Mancias began his painting career in 1982 as a union painter. After working with a painting company for 18 years, he opened up EDM Painting with a vision to create a family and Christian-oriented business. Ed's two sons work for him and that is a tremendous amount of pride for him. By donating his time and the services of his team, he feels incredibly fulfilled to operate a company with extreme faith and adhering to the Golden Rule.
Our founder, Ed Mancias, takes the ultimate pride in his work and he expects each of his employees to do exactly the same. Ed Mancias and his crew are excellent. I like to do everything myself because I care that things are done correctly and with care. But I was pressed for time getting my home ready to sell (and I'm also terrible at sheetrock).
Work Quality: I asked EDM to do a variety of task including rebuilding and painting a chimney with Hardie siding, painting in exterior Hardie I had installed in front of home plus 2 additional porches. I also had them paint all or part of 4 rooms as well as repaint and detail a couple of shelving/cabinet areas and a few doors. Finally, I had them fix one of my sheetrock

We had EDM paint the exterior of our house this fall. They also replaced a couple of trim pieces due to rot, pressure washed the entire house and caulked all doors and windows. They were personable, prompt and did what they said they would do. They got in and got the job done and we couldn't be happier. I highly recommend EDM for any painting or house needs.

We hired Ed and his team to paint the inside of our living room and hallway, it was in much needed repair. From the start Ed was professional, easy to communicate with, friendly and punctual. I did receive a couple other quotes and there was a big difference in professionalism and I have had bad experiences in the past by going with the lowest price. EDM was not crazy expensive but not the lowest bid, however I very much believe "you get what you pay for." We are very happy with the paint job and we recommend EDM painting and construction highly. Thanks for the great job guys!

Ed was great! I had a small office that I wanted painted, he was able to come over the same day I called and provided an estimate. He was able to get the job done quickly just a few days later! To be able to have a complete stranger walk in your house and say "hey, whoever did the paint in this house did an amazing job" makes you feel proud of your decision to hire someone to do a job you think you can do. I made that mistake of trying to paint my own interior all by myself and that didn't work out so well. Ed and his team are fantastic! The quality of work they provide is simply outstanding and they are always so professional. You'd think they were painting their own house, the attention to detail was so much better than I did. Ed and his crew are absolute professionals......top notch. They have done a number of different painting jobs around the house including walls, texturing, and have painted my banister railing. Ed will always be on site at 8am sharp before his crew arrives! They are quick and respectful. Nothing but glowing words for this local small business.

EDM has done work for me several times and each time it was exemplary. Several years back the crew did an incredible job on the bright white cabinetry, crown molding and other trim work in my home. They used some kind of oil-based paint that has stayed bright and durable up to now.
More recently I called EDM when I had a large sheet rock repair in my living room that had to be done RIGHT because it was in a spot that would be very visible. After the expert taping & floating you can't tell there was ever a repair done. They perfectly matched the texture in the ceiling and in the walls
