Jay-Car Construction Company, Inc. was founded in 1967 by Carlos Joslin and Jay Joslin, a father and son team, to complete their first few projects which included the Kroger Grocery warehouse in Columbus, Ohio. That upstart business has grown into a multi million dollar general contracting firm serving a large portion of Ohio and occasionally interstate customers.
Decades later, Jay-Car Construction is a regional company that provides general contracting services and construction management services for commercial and industrial clients. We now enjoy the fourth generation of the Joslin family within the ranks of Jay-Car and our personalized service has resulted in many repeat customers over the years.
We encourage you to sit down with our team leaders and discuss your own upcoming project. It would be our pleasure to provide you with any type or size of facility that suits your needs, and we will do everything within our power to make sure you are completely satisfied with the product resulting from your vision.

Services
Our office will do everything in its power to help meet your pre-construction needs. We can help by offering design advice, or put you in touch with one of the several architects we work with regularly. We can also help put together budget numbers for large and small projects alike. We are more than happy to make field visits to evaluate repairs or restorations.
Working in the construction industry is very rewarding. Nothing beats the feeling of turning a dirt lot into a spectacular building. The fact that you are doing something new and different on a daily basis keeps the job interesting. The skills you will acquire while at work, will serve you for years to come in your personal life.
