Excellent experience overall relative to a flat roof repair and replacement. Roof had one or more pocket leaks which caused water to come gushing thru the ceiling after an hour of rain fall. No other contractors had been able to fix. Dan is extremely meticulous and built by hand many of the parts needed for the repair. Very knowledgeable, pays attention to details, and a pleasure to have at our home.

Needed a roofing certification for a C/O and reached out. What I was most impressed by was a) the level of proactive communication and b) the clear sense of ownership. My experience with contractors has generally been that they can't be bothered, don't communicate, don't get back to you, and just don't really seem to care.
It was the opposite with Mercer. They were in communication with me proactively at every step of the process, letting me know how they were doing, when things were going to be done, what the status was, and what they expected to happen. It was such a wonderful change to feel

Dealing with Dan was a pleasure. He was responsive, fair and accurate, easy to deal with and, importantly, honest. After trying many other roofers, I contacted Dan on a recommendation. He quickly responded, gave me a thorough quote, and then delivered the work as expected, including being on budget and on time. My experience with him was distinctly positive in the quality of work, the communication before and during the job, and the accuracy of the estimate and end product. Overall, I would use him again. Impeccable workmanship, absolutely excellent job done on our new roof. The crew was incredibly friendly, polite, and highly competent. They cleaned up all nails and debris, and generally set what should be the industry standard for roofing contractors. My highest recommendations for a superb roofing contractor and staff.

My partner and I just purchased our new house recently, and we needed our roof replaced. After reading several great reviews of Mercer Roofing on Google, I decided to give them a call. Dan came out for the consultation. Super nice guy, pleasant to deal with. We had a blast talking, so I said let's do it, a new roof replacement now. That was years ago. Now we are in a new home and calling Dan for a New roof again.
