I've been working in the plumbing field since high school, and launched my full-time career in 2003. Owning my own plumbing company has always been a dream of mine, in part because I've seen the kinds of things other plumbing companies often do to lose their customer's trust. I vowed to start a company that handled their business in a completely different way-one customers could feel good about doing business with.
Remember, every drain flows into your main sewer line. An unpleasant smell could be your first warning things are starting to go wrong. Every drain has a U-trap, literally a bit of piping shaped like a U that is designed to hold a constant reservoir of water. This keeps sewer gas out of your drains.
Evenings, weekends, holidays-pipes don't really care what's going on in our lives when they decide to break. Toilets do have a knack for picking the worst possible time to overflow, and drains have been known to clog just in time for company to arrive. A cracked toilet can flood the house in a matter of moments.
While faucet repair and replacement may seem pretty routine, there's one very key, very important question your plumber needs to be asking himself before wading in to get the job done. Faucets which come from big box stores generally have a very short shelf life. Once they start leaking there's a high likelihood they will leak again, no matter how good the repair job.
A broken garbage disposal isn't an isolated problem. Sure, you could throw the same food into your garbage can, but that's not the point. Usually the disposal clogs, backing up both your sink and your dish washer until neither one of them work. And, let's face it, the noises a broken disposal makes are downright frightening.

Thanksgiving Day, I moved into my new home built in 1999, and the hot water heater (original) was leaking. It passed the pre-move-in inspection then died. I called yesterday because the main water valve to my house sprung a leak on Sunday. I spoke with Sergio over the phone and he was willing to commit his time to come out when other companies I called wouldn’t commit to anything other than, “one of our technicians will call you.” Sergio came when he said he would and got right to explaining why the pipe burst and how much the repairs would cost. Sergio was terrific. Knowledgeable and Pleasant, explained and showed what the problem was, and was upfront with costs and parts needed. His work was done in a reasonable amount of time, and frankly his charge was very reasonable. We were so pleased with his work anD cost that when we needed other work done, he was the first one we called. Again his work was excellent and cost reasonable. Our neighbor recommend them highly to me. We had a clog in the drain between the house and the septic so neither toilet would flush. I called at 7:30 am and explained the problem. Sergio indicated his schedule was full but that he would work us in. He came bout 12:15 pm and unclogged the drain in short order. Very professional and courteous. Nice young man, lives in the Vail / East Side area. I will absolutely use them again.

Sergio, from On the Way Plumbing was recommended to us by our realtors. He was professional, responsive, explained everything so we could fully understand the instillation of our new rev. osmosis system and water softener unit. He answered his phone, came by when we had a question about 1 week after this initial instillation. We would definitely recommend him to others and also would like to thank his mother for raising a decent human being, that's hard to find those now-a days....

Sergio Peña did an outstanding job for us. He responded immediately to my call and arrived within 45 minutes! He discover the clog (which was our fault of course,lol!), determined the course of action and went to work. Sergio was very informative to us as he worked along and explaining everything. His work clean and efficient! And his rates was more than affordable.
He ended up having to Hydo-Flush our entire system but that was ok. Our system was 99.9% cleaned out! Sergio even discovered two possible shortfalls with two of the three toilets caused by the builder of our home which I will take

Sergio is the consummate professional. I first utilized him a few years ago when we came home from a weekend away to a flooded bathroom. I had a serious issue with an old cast iron drain pipe in a bathroom wall. On The Way Plumbing was the first to respond to my requests for quote. They were the only plumber willing to give me a rough cost estimate right away, even over email with a few photos. Communication was excellent. The work was executed quickly and professionally. My husband and I had the luck of having to replace all the sewer pipes in our house due to age and them collapsing. We had several companies out for an estimate. Sergio's estimate was the most reasonable and had the fastest turn around time. I am so grateful that we decided to go with Sergio. He was kind and professional. I had a leak in my wall and had to call them on an emergency basis. They were extremely nice and helpful on the phone, responded earlier than they said they could, and finished quickly. My plumbing has been slow since I moved into my duplex 3 years ago. Sergio has come out twice. This time he found the pipes filled with a black sludge with he told my landlord was oil or grease and food. Because of that report I am now evicted from a home I rent and pay rent on time for 3 years. I was easily able to google this slime is caused by years of buildup. I talked to several different plumbers before I chose On The Way to re-pipe my home, but I knew in the first few minutes that Sergio was who I wanted to do the job.
