Bolted steel tanks offer repair solutions that other types of tanks do not. Each component of a bolted tank can be removed and replaced without having to purchase an entirely new ground storage tank. This allows for an inexpensive and timely solution, cutting down on customer's system downtime and improving their bottom line.
GCT has the capability to provide our customers with foundations for the tank(s) required on each project. If your project needs a simple grade band foundation, a concrete ring wall, or a full concrete slab foundation, we can help! Using the details on a precisely engineered foundation design based upon the Geotechnical report for the project area, our erection team can easily handle the various aspects of foundation erection.
The installation time for bolted tanks depends on the sizes of the tanks installed, and the complexity of the installation process. Normally, the installation is very quick, often requiring less than a third of the time it typically takes to complete a welded or a concrete tank, but factors such as site complications or specific job requirements can alter the installation time.
