Alte came as a recommendation to us. "They fixed a leak for us no other roofer could find," I was told. Sadly, I had already found my leak. I had leaky skylights on one part of our home that has many little roofs over several additions. Alte didn't try to oversell me. Once contract was signed, I was kept informed of their schedule. They were always prompt and completed the work in one day. The roofers didn't take a break because they were concerned about rain predicted for the next day (which happened, beading beautifully on the newly installed skylights). Alte Roofing was a pleasure to work with from the start. They scheduled a timely estimate, provided a detailed scope of work for the roof replacement, and offered competitive pricing. They worked with us to coordinate the start date according to our schedule, worked efficiently, and left the property spotless! Prior to calling the job complete, a supervisor even came out to our home to double check the quality of workmanship as well as sweep again for stray nails. Alte roofing was professional from the beginning quote to the final cleanup. Their employees arrived on time and worked efficiently to install our brand new roof. The materials that they used are great quality and the project manager Logan was wonderful about explaining everything as the job progressed very clearly and completely. Once the roofing was completed Alte cleaned up everything so well that it looked like there hadn’t even been any work done! This was the 3rd installation they have done for me. Each at a different location. As with the other 2 it was a great job with quality material. The team is easy to work with and responsive to the needs of the client. I'm running our of roofs but would only consider using them again if necessary.

I hired Jeff to do her gutters when we first moved in and I wanted to go with a local company that can do a nice job fast. I paid him around $3000 to install new gutters and guards all around my home. Fast forward less than a year later, a branch fell on my roof ripping a 3 foot portion of gutter off. So my first move is to call Jeff since he installed it. However, not only did Jeff refused to send someone out to assess the damage and give me a fair price, he said it was too small of a job and not worth his time. Had them out for an estimate on my 2200SF ranch. I knew I was in trouble when the salesman started his iPad presentation. The estimate was for $41,000 but if I signed right then the price would be $37,000. I told him I was going to get 2 more estimates. Suddenly he told me if they took pictures of the roof and used it in their advertising the price would be $32,000. At that point I knew I would never use them. These are old schemes for selling siding to the unsuspecting. The next two estimates I got were $16,000 and $17,000. Both roofers told me they had bid against Alte Jr for other jobs

Jeff Alte Jr. Roofing installed our new roof a couple of months ago. He came to give us an estimate and was very nice and professional. He did not try and sell us anything we didn't need, and his pricing was fair. His crew showed up on the day scheduled at the time they were expected, and did an excellent job. Everyone from start to finish was friendly and helpful. This roofing company is listed on GAF's website as a master installer of their products, and you really can't do better than GAF products. They even offer an extended warranty above and beyond what the manufacturer offers

Just had the worst experience with the a guy named Kurt who basically told me to F off. It was a simple roof job who he was not interested in helping give me a quote. He was basically pissed his boss made him drive out on a Saturday and come to realize his boss did the same house quote a year ago. And why is that my problem? You should never treat people / clients this way. Not cool. Don't bother working with this company because they do not know how to treat clients or work professionally.

Estimate was provided by Jeff the same day. He provided a lot of information and went over all the details of what was going to be done. I was given an estimated start date for the job. The workers showed up on the day they were supposed to. The entire job went extremely well and they did a thorough clean up when they were done. I would definitely use Jeff Alte Jr Roofing in the future.
