We had a bathroom remodeled by Josh, he worked with our schedule on demo and construction, he even made remodeling schedule around my boys naps times, he didn't interrupt their schedule at all, and he was really patient with the little boys wanted to see what he was doing, I highly recommend Josh and am going to hire him again.

8 Inch Nails created my dream kitchen. What was an outdated, broken and non-functional space is now a modern, updated, and functional place I love cooking in. They also transformed a basement storage space into a beautiful bathroom. They were great at keeping up with their timetable and communication with me. The electricians, plumbers and all those associated with 8 Inch Nails were those that I would trust to have in my house, around my kids... they became like family and I am so sad that their work to my house is over, it went by too fast. From the bidding process to leaving upon completion of our new large picture window in a previously windowless wall, Josh Farrand was superb in his communication, work quality, costing, time estimation for job and clean-up. There were some custom factors in the job including cutting irreplaceable siding on the exterior wall and having the window fit right the first time. All seemed to be done effortlessly. When some trim was no longer available he had it custom made at no cost to us. At times he had another crew person there, equally excellent.
We had no upcharges and, in fact, we got a credit

Josh teamed up with our designer Wendy O’Brien for a major kitchen/family room remodel. Our project included a total gut of the kitchen and replacement of the fireplace wall in the family room. Josh gave us reasonable expectations on schedule and budget and followed through. He made good suggestions and gave us choices when unexpected situations arose. He’s a great communicator, always responding to e-mails, text messages, and phone calls. His subs were always easy to work with and showed up when scheduled. Our project turned out great!! We found 8 inch Nails Construction through our kitchen designer, Wendy O'Brien, and that referral tops a very long list things of things we are grateful for her guidance on. Josh Farrand is a true find. He is kind, talented, communicative, calm in the face of challenges, with a Can Do attitude that he lives up to without exception. Subs love working with him; he hires the best people, who are wonderful to be around, just like josh.
