Outside your house, open the test valves on the backflow preventer by turning the slotted screws ( either clockwise or counter-clockwise) 1/4 tum or 90 degrees to the position shown in the diagram below. As you can see, whenever the slot is parallel to the body of the test valve, the valve is open.
Tum the isolation ball valves on the backflow preventer to a 45 degree position as shown on the diagram. DO NOT turn the handles so that they are perpendicular (90 degrees) to the ball valve. I was very impressed with the work done and the professionalism of the team that came to my house. From start to finish this has been a really simple landscaping project. I also use these guys to blow out my sprinklers each year. They have always been quick to get out here and I’m way out in Milliken. The prices are very fair too!

Driver of company vehicle illegally cut me off in a roundabout, forcing me to brake extremely hard to avoid hitting his trailer. Then he drove about 55 mph on a 45 mph limit county road. Would never hire this company, if their attitude on the job site is as poor their driving, I could never trust that they would perform the work correctly or safely. Would give zero stars if I could.

Terrible customer service, frequent damage to property and extremely rude team. All my business in going to All Terrain out of Greeley. They are moving into the Johnstown market for weekly mowing and many other services in the Spring of 2017. I have worked with them on my sprinkler blowout and other matainece and they are extremely professional. Just my opinion, if you want a reputable company who cares about their customers and maintaining a positive reputation. Ace of Blades is one of the worst service companies I have come in contact with!

We moved to Johnstown in 2013, are retired, and have worked with Ace of Blades since 2013. They have provided regular service for lawn care, irrigation system, snow removal, and a few special projects since 2013.
