Jerry Haney, who founded the company 48 years ago, was a schoolteacher who wanted to supplement his teaching salary during the summer months.

We built a new house and bid out landscaping and a paver patio to multiple firms. Yard Works was responsive and provided one of the better comprehensive bids. We worked with Tracy and Ben, they met with us multiple times to make sure we recieved what we wanted but stayed within our budget. They met their schedule, stayed within the estimate and provided us with a great lawn and patio. I would highly recommend them, and use them again for my projects.

I don't understand how bad they plowed us yesterday. Today was okay. I realize it was a bad snow. But they came very late. I had it shoved by my car and by my garage door and they plowed it in again. Never came back yesterday and fixed it. The boss drove through so he saw the mess...I should of taken pictures.

I have had the good fortune of living in a neighborhood serviced by Yard Works. They have provided excellent service throughout every season for the past eight years. If any problems have occurred, they have been responsive and taken appropriate actions to fix the problem ASAP. I have found their staff, from the president of the company to the guys riding the mowers, to be both professional and friendly, and ALWAYS willing to lend a helping hand. I would highly recommend this company.

Grass is never mowed timely each week or not at all. Grass is mowed sloppy, no cleanup after and spots are missed. They asked for us to pull our cars on the mowing day, so they can mow more efficiently, yet, we don’t know when they are coming and when cars are pulled forward the grass is still not completely mowed. It looks horrible for this paid service. Just mulched on June 22 and not every place was mulch that should have, an employee stayed there wasn’t enough mulch ordered and they ran out. Very disappointed with the sloppy service.
