In 1957, Charles and Olive Scrymgeour (Scott's grandparents) purchased the ongoing concern, Oxbow Gardens. It was then a commercial flower grower that supplied New England with begonias, geraniums and other plants. The business remains connected to the Bedford, MA property. Oxbow Gardens provided flowers to the Woolworth chain, delivering 18 wheeler loads for sale.
The flowers were grown on site, in two 300 foot greenhouses in Bedford. Charles and Olive Scrymgeour exhibited at the Massachusetts flower show held in Boston, a number of times in the 60's. In 1985, Scott and Joanna Dyment purchased and re-established the business as Oxbow Gardens Landscaping as a landscaping organization to provide service to Bedford and surrounding towns.

Did a decent job cleaning up a yard that sorely needed it earlier this year, but then just disappeared -- stopped returning voicemails & emails.
Maybe because Scott told us he would do something included in the cleanup cost, then later claimed (after we'd paid) that it wasn't included? My mom and I both remember him saying it.
Still I was up for figuring out what would work for both of us price & work-wise since they'd been good about working around a coordination issue for the cleanup. But we never hard back and that was 6-weeks ago (left another voicemail/email last
