Services
Epoxies are high gloss, high build concrete coatings tradionally used as a workhorse coating in commercial and industrial applications and tend to be the foundation of most floor coating systems. Industrial Floor Service, Inc. uses many types of epoxy coatings but the two most popular are aliphatic and polyamide.
Urethanes are commonly very high gloss coatings with better resistance to a multitude of chemicals over epoxy coatings, including but not limited to acids, alkalis, chlorinated solvents, alcohol, hydraulic fluids, gasoline, jet fuels, detergent cleaners, salts, oils, and grease. Urethanes are the ideal topcoat application over epoxy coatings due to their UV stability.
Concrete Polishing is a method of polishing a concrete surface utilizing commercial diamond grinding equipment with various metal bond and resin bond heads to acheive a distinguished high gloss or low sheen, easy to maintain floor. This step by step process commonly implements the use of sodium, potassium, or lithium silicates to fill in and harden (densify) the surface.
