From there, I transitioned into a position with Human Resources, and now I assist with managing safety for the whole company.

First Construction Job: My first construction job was as a Welder's Apprentice on a pipeline. First Project with Erland: The first project I had at Erland as the gut renovation and tenant fit-up of 9 Crosby Drive in Bedford. First Construction Job: My very first job was with Erland! I started as the Front Desk Coordinator and overtime took on more responsibilities that led to me managing the IT Department.

In 2008 I was hired for a field supervisor position, career wise, I am progressing exactly where I want to be. I moved on from a field supervisor position to a project superintendent. Eventually, I really want to move on to a senior superintendent or even a general superintendent role. I've got another 15 years in me to get all that done.

Had the pleasure of watching safety in action with this company.. One of their large pickup trucks (Mass plate ending in 256) driving like a maniac, West on Rt 2 evening of July 15th. Driver was doing at least 80 - 85, at times, in a 55, but the scary part was the tailgating of much smaller vehicles. If the smaller vehicle in front was not doing 80-85 this Erland drive would tailgate no more than 10 feet off the bumper. One person pulled over to the right giving a on-finger salute of disgust. Once around - back up to 80-85 until tailgating the next victim. When I say tailgating here it was honestly
