Was stuck without heat for a day because I replaced the batteries three times and was too impatient to let it come back on ended up putting batteries in wrong way the last time and then calling for help so it was clearly my error. But they came out and Isaac was very nice, quick and efficient he didn’t make me feel like an idiot even though I did. He just said well I’m going to perform some regular annual maintenance that needs to be done anyway so the call wasn’t for the nothing and the price was even better. I wonder if this kinda thing happens often… first time homebuyer problems.

These guys were fast. I called early in the morning and they were out the same day to assess and replace my electric hot water tank. I got a rough cost estimate over the phone before they even came out and they were here and gone within 2 hours. Isaac, the technician was a joy to work with. He was extremely professional, conscientious cleaning up around the area after he was done, and really excelling my expectations for how proficient and detail oriented he was throughout the process. Booking an appointment through the website couldn't have been easier. During the busy season I was able to get an appointment two days after my request whereas others were booked out for several weeks. Brandon arrived on time and communicated when he would arrive. Brandon was very nice and informative. We installed a Google Nest ourselves and he checked all to make sure we got it right. A minor tweak he made and we were good to go. Not only did he make the correction he explained what it was and what would have happened. Great service overall from phone calls in the the company setting appointments and asking questions to the technicians providing the maintenance!

Our interactions with this company started off great and have progressed to nothing short of negligence. They were called to service our HVAC unit in the winter of 2021. It ended up needing to be replaced. HL was very quick and communicated wonderfully throughout the installment. However, after needing to run the AC a few months later, it was found that the installment was riddled with problems.

Looking for a free estimate? Not here. Expect to pay $70 for someone to come to your house and tell you what needs repaired/replaced. Then they will send a sales guy on a separate day to give you a price which is significantly higher than what you would pay with a small business. The guy who initially came to our house was super kind and very informative. Unfortunately the sales rep he was sending our way was late and got mad at us when we weren't available an hour and a half after our appointment had been scheduled. HL Bowman was terrific all around, especially considering the current Covid circumstances. We had a minor issue with our air conditioning, and they were able to get a tech to come out the next business day (I called on the Friday before Memorial Day--tech came on Tuesday).
I asked about precautions related to Covid, and the person on the phone ensured me the tech would be masked and gloved. Zero stars. Do not use this company. I will never use them again. They came to fix a broken handle in my shower. The whole faucet really needed replaced but they said they would get knobs for the faucet. They look terrible once they put them on. I paid for them to come and just look at things ($125) and then ordered parts which they said would take less than a week. It took several weeks and I had to call them. When I called them they said we forgot, we can put them in now. Luckily I called. They charged more money just to screw on knobs which I could have done. I then called several weeks later

latest development: hired daflure to maintenance hl bowman's work because hl bowman will no longer service the work the did in my home.
daflure is a daikin certified distributer. their technician said hl bowman botched the installation of the units, causing the problems i have had.
here are my current choices:
1. entirely abandon the units installed by hl bowman and start

We have used HL Bowman twice for issues in our bathroom. We have an old house in uptown Harrisburg, so we will eventually have to have all of the faucets and hardware replaced, but for now the gentleman replaced the washer, to buy us some more time without a huge charge. The workers are always very nice and very friendly with my two dogs. Very professional and definitely do not try to 'upsell' you.

I chose this company because I saw that it had great reviews, but my personal experience with this company was horrendous. The technician came, did an assessment, and I was given an estimate by email later that day. When he came to fix our pipes he didn't even check to see if the water was completely shut off and in the process of taking out a pipe, another leak was created. He tells my grandparents there is another leak and that we need to call the company to ask for the new pricing to fix it and just left leaving

I just had service from George at HL Bowman and I cannot express how happy I am with this company. George was here on time at 7:30 in the morning as it was scheduled.He was very patient and kind since I had to maneuver my way around my big dog. He explain what was done to the unit and I'm comfortable that the service provided was needed, without any funny business. I would recommend this company to anyone in the future.

We called HL Bowman to fix a leak under our shower that was dripping into the dining room. We had to put down a drop cloth to catch the mess (he didn't have one) as he tore a hole in the ceiling (we knew it had to be done, so I'm not complaining about making a hole). The guy said he couldn't fix it, and packed up, and left. We asked him to have a salesperson call with an estimate to renovate the shower, but they never called. It cost us $141 to get this "plumbing work" done to our dining room.

HL Bowman Inc. is an amazing company to work with they are professional, and stand behind their products. The service is amazing it well above all the other companies in the area. The service team members are through and take the time to make sure the problem is solved. I will not call another company to fix a plumbing, HVAC issue.
