I worked with Mark Dally of Mountain Road Landscaping and he was great to work with. Communication is key for me, there are variety of timing issues that can occur on any project due to weather, unexpected events, etc. This is where I value communication and Mark excels at responsiveness and pre-preemptively reaching out.
A properly constructed paver patio or walkway will have at least 8 inches of compacted stone, and at least an inch of sand beneath the paver or natural stone. It would be nearly impossible for seeds to germinate under the stone and grow through the base. The joints of the pavers will be filled with polymeric sand which hardens like cement when installed properly.
