In this project, the clients wanted a bigger space so that they could entertain, and they wanted to incorporate a gazebo. Locating the gazebo closest to the kitchen maximizes it's use.
And, paving the way keeps feet clean and insects down. A long entry path needs an interesting design so that the guest pauses and enjoys the experience. This Japanese design incorporates natives, stone, and ornament to achieve calm contemplation in anticipation of the visit. The creation of an outdoor room with a need for immediate privacy led to the decision to use a mixed hedge of narrow evergreens.

The first step to a well designed landscape project is to meet our designer, Donna Rudek, for a consultation to discuss your goals and objectives for your outdoor space. During this meeting, you will walk the property with Donna and evaluate existing plants, topography, privacy concerns, lifestyle issues, and any major projects that you may be considering, such as a swimming pool.

Donna Rudek is an exceptional landscaper. She loves her profession, and it shows in her discriminating artistry. I was most impressed with her portfolio, her designs are innovative and her attention to detail is magnificent. Donna has an endless resource of unusual applications. Her knowledge of perennials and color are inspiring, and is very easy to work with because of her ability to make her clients share in the process of creating the most spectacular and tranquil panoramas.
