I have known Michael for over 20 years as he has painted my house and also my place of employment numerous times. He takes pride in his work, gets the job done in a timely fashion, is fair with his prices and neatly cleans the work area when the job is done. I am always satisfied with his performance and would highly recommend Michael.

Working with Michael Hammel and State of Art is a pleasure. He is a knowledgeable and incredible painter. Whether it be Mike, Jose, Josh, or Ron, all were very courteous and attentive to detail. I have restored two housed in the Mexican War Streets over the past 15 years and have used State of Art on multiple projects.

Michael seemed like a nice guy at first. However, he failed to deliver what he was under contract to do and wanted more money to fix an existing issue that should have been taken care without a doubt the first time. Absolutely no customer service and did not stand behind his work. I do NOT recommend making final payment until all work is done to your satisfaction.
