We live in a tree heavy area near Alpine Meadows, and we have been looking for an arborist who has a first priority of preserving as many trees as possible. So many folks these days are eager to cut down trees, but we found that Billy is very much a student of tree health and science. He came out and spent an hour with me going through each tree on our property and talking through its current health, and what we might be able to do to help it over the years. Very pleased with this arborist. Bill is very knowledgeable about trees and how to care for them as well as irrigation. My new home came with an old irrigation system for many aspen trees, he was able to diagnosis and fix the system and get my aspens healthy again. He truly cares for the health of trees and identified some problematic aspens that needed removal. I highly recommend Bill Probst and Arbor Green!

Bill was highly professional in examining the trees on my property while assisting me with a stump removal in a tricky spot. He has exceptional knowledge of local trees, plants, insects, and other wildlife. He was also able to spot disease and other issues with some of our trees and had the remedies to resolve them without having to lose the tree. He will also do tree removal, but I appreciate that he works to save the tree before resorting to tree removal! Great experience, highly recommended.

Timely, efficient and extremely knowledgeable! Bill walked us through our property not only identifying all our trees and plant life but providing tips on how to keep them healthy today, a year from now, 10+ years from now, etc. We were also given instruction on how to identify new growth and signs of early/future distress. Bill was amazing to work with from proposal to tree landing. He is passionate about the life of all living things in our precious Lake Tahoe area. Bill was very detailed and is an excellent communicator. We would have him back in the future to take care of any other issue we have at our home.
