In the beginning, I was wary of hiring Steve for our house remodel. I had heard horror stories of working with contractors on remodel jobs. I knew Steve had a good reputation, but still-he was going to be in our house for a few months, so I was waiting for the day when things would all fall apart and we'd be yelling at each other.
