The Cox Construction Company has been proudly serving West Sayville, Sayville and Bayport since 1973. Our dedication and commitment to our craft can be seen in the countless projects in and around the Sayville area. John F. Cox began to learn his trade working for Craft Home Improvement of Amityville in 1968 and 1969.
Thereafter, John was called to help defend liberty in Vietnam. John obliged and proudly served. Cox Construction started out working all over Long Island, upstate, and in New York City. From remodeling all of the Red Lobster Inns in the Northeast region to 15,000 square foot plus private homes in Old Field and Amagansett; Cox Construction has done hundreds of home improvement jobs, baths and kitchens, siding, windows, millwork and trim.
In the late 90's John's wife Kathy asked him to work closer to their home in Sayville. John agreed and Cox Construction became a staple in and around the Sayville area. They began to restore local Victorian era homes and build new homes. Additionally, Cox Construction completed full remodels, home lifting, restaurant work, marina construction, and even a jewelry store.
