Herbert Construction Company was founded by Barry and Linda Herbert in Southwest Michigan in 1978. It began with one boom truck and enough lumber to build 150 linear feet of hand-made wood forms. For 20 years the company constructed commercial, residential and agricultural foundations in Michigan. In 1998, we acquired a poured wall contractor in Marietta, GA.

I Was doing a house lot in Pickens county. I had my track hoe parked 50 foot from The house and got a phone call stating this company had hit my equipment and damaged it. They stated all they had damaged was the fuel cap. Once I got to the job and looked at my excavator. I found it to have a crushed fuel tank and cap. I talked to Joey Herbert who stated he would replace the 15 dollar fuel cap but would not replace the fuel tank which cost around 1000 dollars. I would not trust these guys on or near my jobs.

Critical: Responsiveness
Very unprofessional. Literally begged these people and they simply refused to give me an estimate on a service they have listed on their site. I tried for months and finally gave up. In the end, I explained how unhappy I was with the communication and their replay was, “we wish you luck”. Don’t wast your time with company.
