Olson Toon’s response to this review is not correct. I could see the cedar rust on the tree they installed within the first week of it being planted, and we followed all watering and care instructions like our neighbors did. Our neighbors have requested replacements and did not receive them. We have contacted Olson Toon about our grass issues and they claim they have been out but they have not, we have had to reseed ourselves. During a work from home era it is so easy to know that Olson Toon has not returned to our property even though they claim they have.

I had some difficult trees to remove from around my out building. Several tree services declined. Raymond from Olson Toon stopped out, shot me a bid and scheduled a time to come out. He arrived on time. He and his crew were timely, efficient, professional and did the job to my specifications despite the heat and humidity. I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you!

We have been customers of Olson Toon for over ten years. They installed the landscaping for our new home, have provided annual maintenance, and most recently installed our pool last summer. They provide very high quality work and are a pleasure to work with. The design process was easy and fun. Their administrative staff is detail oriented and quickly responds to inquiries. The crews who have worked on our jobs are friendly, professional, and have maintained a clean work site. Work was done on time and on budget. We give them our highest recommendation!

My wife and I recently built a new home on 6 acres north of Waunakee, The builder (Hart Denoble) suggested we use Olson Toon for the design and installation of our Landscaping. Initially I was hesitant as our perception of OT was they commanded very high pricing. Needless to say we had Brad at OT do the full landscape plan which involved several… onsite meetings etc. Brad did an amazing job.....start to finish. I live at Leopold Place in Sun Prairie. I have never seen such poor quality in my life. They mow so fast that everything is uneven. That’s doesn’t include the strips they miss because they are going 40mph on their mowers. They do not pick up any trash they see. It’s a lot easier to mow over it and make a bigger mess. The person with the blower needs a lesson on how to use it. It took me 40 minutes to sweep the grass off my porch and patio furniture. I had grass in my screens. They also mow for the Smith’s Crossing Neighborhood Association. They don’t do any better there. Spend the extra

Meadow Crossing - Totally inconsiderate, dumped mulch in middle of street and ran bobcat loader entire time to pick up and dump into wheel barrows despite having 5 guys on the job, scraped up street surface and curb. Additionally, in this day and age of working remotely, to run bobcat loader entire time and drown out ability to have conversations/meetings/even think is horrendous. Do better please.

We recently used Olson Toon and couldn’t be more pleased. Ryan, from that start, was exceptionally helpful in designing and planning out our project. He was patient as I changed my mind on things and went back and forth, and offered his honest and helpful opinion when needed.
We started out with a weed bed (we had 3 huge pine trees taken down)… and a torn up yard from septic replacement. Our project scope expanded a bit as we realized instead of waiting another year or two to do some additional upgrades, it would be best to just do it all at once - and that we did.

Had about 800 dandelions in my yard along with multiple other issues. Stan P. showed up and applied his Olson/Toon "magic". (weed control and fert) After about 3 hours you could tell the dandelions were already surrendering. Could not be happier. BIG thanks to W. Golz for the recommendation. Will look forward to future service. THANK YOU OLSON TOON!!!!!!

Unfortunately we had Olson Toon complete our landscaping about 2 years ago. We now have spotty grass and wild parsnip throughout the yard. When I called them within the first year, it was almost impossible to… get anyone to come out and look at the yard. Then when I voiced my concerns, they said the yard would fill in over the years. More than two years later and we still have terrible bare spots. I fertilize multiple times a year and have the hard serviced for weeds. As I dug into the problem myself, I have found large stones and rocks just below the surface. I’m not a professional

I was very dissatisfied by the workmanship of Olson Toon Landscaping. It was a very simple job. Just re-sod the front lawn, put in a small retaining wall, a pathway, and mulch the rest. First, They did not stake the sod causing the pieces to separate after time. The stone path was placed at a 20 degree angle causing a slipping hazard. They did not mulch a portion of the front lawn and I was charged extra when they returned. My advice is to beware of this company.

We started with Olson-Toon on a bad note but Steve and Al stepped in and quickly resolved the issues we were having. They are very conscientious about their work. They wanted to please us.
