I exclusively used Simmons and Daughters Painting for about 10 years. Professional, very reasonable and knowledgeable! Phil died in 2017 then his son in law assumed ownership. Brady painted inside (reasonable job but didn’t texture when he said he would). But exterior was a disaster: sprayed over moss (photo), didn’t prepare/smooth out brick surfaces, missed old paint, paint on hardware, partially painted clad slider (ruined). Stated he couldn’t reach the other part so didn’t paint it (see photo). Replacement cost per Andersen Windows is $14,000+! Apparently didn’t use a drop cloth so

We had them come out to our house for a quote, they sent the quote later than what we were told. I then wanted to schedule an appointment to get the work done, I emailed and texted the guy who came out for the quote so that we could get something scheduled. He texted back saying he would look at his schedule and get back to me and I still haven't heard anything.

A friend recommended these painters. I contacted them, described my project, and asked for an estimate. They did not reply, so I contacted them again. They said my e-mail had gone to trash and they asked to make an appointment. We did. I waited all afternoon for them, contacted them by phone to confirm a 4:30 appointment. I waited until 5:00 and they did not show. Found an e-mail saying they could not make it and suggested another appointment for work in late October, after the beginning of the rainy season. I have had enough of these irresponsible people!
