We hired this painting contractor to paint our house. We thought that Aaron Burke, the owner, was going to be present to supervise the work, himself. However, that was not the case. Instead, he used another painter.
While the quality of the work was acceptable, the cleanup was terrible. There are 13 items that Mr. Burke REFUSES to address. This is a copy of the email that I received after I reminded him a second time that the items needed to be addressed:
"Thank You so much for choosing Burk's Custom Painting for your residential exterior painting project. At this time your project has been evaluated

Aaron is a crook. I paid $475 to have Burk's Custom come to my house to repair small dings in our drywall and touch up paint. The painter who came to my house did a sloppy job. I had to call them to come back out and fix the poor job (there was excess wall paint that went into the ceiling and streaks on the wall) and since I did not know the color of the ceiling paint, I agreed to pay the $85 paint match. There was scheduling mistake with the painter so I can to call them and during that time, told them the correct paint color (swiss mocha - it was actually swiss coffee, but anyone who does paint

I have used Burk's Custom Painting for several jobs in the past including a previous residence where we lived. His crew is always professional, punctual, respectful, and meticulous in their daily clean-up. Aaron is often creative with his estimate in that he makes suggestions based on his professional experience. They use only high quality materials and take obvious pride in their work. During the project they just completed at my residence, it did not involve straight painting, but significant prep work which greatly affected the finished product. We have used Burk's Custom Painting twice in the last six years. The first time was for painting the outside of our house, and this last time was to repaint a large patio pergola on the back and side of the house. In both cases the quote was reasonable, and very detailed. They started on time and finished on time. Significant overspray protection of the house and patio was done. The pergola was power washed, primed, and painted. In addition they replaced several boards on top that had rot. The pergola now looks fantastic! Finally, they did a great job cleaning up when they were done

We feel fortunate to have found Burk's to repair three textured doors that were botched by our general contractor's painter who delivered them damaged and peeling. All they needed to begin with was a light fresh-up coat and they came back ruined instead. What a nightmare! You can imagine how picky we were about finding someone up to the task who we could trust. Our previous painter who was fabulous retired, so we were anxious about finding the right person.

I was very happy with the professionalism and quality of Burk's Painting! They were very careful and thorough about their preparation of the area before painting. They did an excellent job on the painting also. I would definitely recommend this service!

Aaron Burk runs a tight ship! His crew was so organized and responsive. When the estimate was going to be done I got a call from the receptionist informing me of his ETA. They painted my office over the 4th of July weekend which was so appreciated and did not interrupt my business operations at all. After the painting was done, they came back and rehung all pictures and other items that were on the walls. Thank you so much to Aaron Burk and his awesome crew! If you want your painting needs done right, use Burk's. Don't take your chances on these other cut rate painters!

Aaron and his crew are great! They should really be called artists because the work they do is that good. We recently bought a home and had Burk's Custom Painting paint the entire inside of our house, a fireplace mantle, and some doors. Clean, efficient, on time and gave a real estimate that was accurate. Planning on using them again soon to make the outside of the house look as nice as the inside. Burks Custom Painting and their team just finished our commercial building and I wanted to post this review because they truly did a fabulous job and went way above and beyond the normal scope of work. I am posting a picture as well. I highly recommend them and there was not one small detail missed. The process started with a checklist of exactly what was to happen and then I was emailed with progress reports. They even have a pre-start checklist that helps you remember things that I would have never thought of, like power sources, restrooms for the workers, color choices, street sweeping days

I was really disappointed when my estimate was more than double the price of four other painters that estimated my job. The other four estimates were from fully bonded and insured painters. I should mention that I had to call twice to even get the written quote. I did however, find everyone to be very friendly during our contacts.
I am a firm believer that you get what you pay for, but their quote was not even in the ballpark.
