Terrible service and guy thinks he runs the world. Showed up hours late and complained about the weather. He's an AC REPAIR MAN???? Had a horrible attitude whole time and said I could go "f*ck*ng" ask someone else if the prices were too high. Never go to this complete joke of a man. Didn't even properly fix my ac unit. What a joke.

Bob isn't worth the 1 star I'm forced to leave since Yelp won't allow 0 stars. Save yourself from any heart palpitations and high blood pressure working with Bob is bound to give you. I truly have NO idea how someone with SUCH a foul mouth towards his own customers is still in business after all these years. I've had the displeasure of working with Bob, not once but twice -- neither of those times were by choice. He never keeps his appointments (when he says "I'll be there Monday,"), he very well may show up 3 weeks later and not apologize or bother to explain

They're the best. We had them come out to my place because the A/C wasn't working. I had checked the breaker myself, and the thermostat, and looked around at the unit, and it seemed fine.
The guy from New England immediately noticed that the emergency shut off switch had been flipped, which we didn't realize because our house cleaner did it the day before.
He refused to accept any money for the job even though we offered to pay.
A few months prior we had called them to handle a drip from our unit. The work was done professionally, quickly, and for a reasonable price. I&apos

Attempted to get an estimate on a large bakery hood installation and was basically told to go "F^*% myself" and that I would be better off shopping around elsewhere. A friend recommended this company because they apparently do good work but after receiving that attitude I can tell that working with them would be a daily test of patience.

Stay away. I reached out to New England HVAC after my tenant was having an issue with the thermostat in my Hoboken condo. They came when they said - the first appt they charge a minimum of an hour and half worth of work plus parts. As it turns out, the thermostat was under recall and just needed replacing. I confirmed with the guy who was there that the initial 1.5 hour fee would cover him coming back to swap in a new one. Later I got a call from someone else saying that it would be an additional charge and when I explained to him that the previous guy had said it would be included, he got

Bob is a gruff guy but he knows what he's doing. Our heat broke in the dead of winter and he came over in an hour and fixed it in 30 quick minutes (there was an electric short to the heater, he found another wire to connect to it that wasn't being used) while explaining to me what was wrong clearly and simply. It was quick and easy for $187 which seemed reasonable.

I came home one night to find a puddle of water on my living room floor. A steady drip was coming out of the A/C vent on the ceiling. It was midnight and I was new to Hoboken, so I called the number listed on a magnet stuck to my A/C unit. Whoever answered the phone could not have been more rude and obnoxious. First off, he sounded like I just woke him up and was bothering him, despite the fact that they advertise 24 hour a day service. He then told me that it wasn't my A/C, it was coming from my upstairs neighbor. When I told him, I WAS the upstairs neighbor, we have a duplex, he proceed

Bob from New England HV A/C is nothing more than an incompetent crook. He sent over an assistant who spent 6 hours trying to locate a refrigerant leak and couldn't find one. The assistant eventually called Bob to see if he could find a leak. Bob pretended to find a leak at the coil and proceeded to rip out the coil unit which was still under warranty and attempted to charge me for the new coil system. When I informed him the unit was brand new and still under warranty he became very angry and started swearing at me. He then went onto my roof and told me that someone must be purposely sabotaging

Do yourself a huge favor and do not allow this gruff despicable man (Bob) into your home.
$350 for service call/refrigerant - Unit Still Broke
$857 for a replaced condenser coil - Unit Still Broke and I later found out from a competent repair man that Bob created new problems -- he sloppily placed the cover back onto the unit. This left huge gaps that the competent repair man needed to seal as there was more air being released into my closet than there was being delivered through the ventilation system.
Anyway, I refused to pay the $857 and could not let him back into my apartment as his personality

Our apartment air conditioning unit had run its course and needed to be replaced, so I called New England Air Conditioning Corp. Bob came the next day to look at it and emailed me an estimate the same day. He gave us 2 options of what could be done to fix it and was quick to answer all of my questions in trying to decide which option to go with. We decided to go with a full system replacement as our furnace was also very old. Bob came again the day before the scheduled job date to inspect everything and make sure he would be fully prepared for the new installation work. We ran into delays because
