Appelhanz Roofing began as Appelhanz Construction in 1979 when Vietnam War Veteran, Ted Appelhanz, decided to "do anything in construction that anyone would pay him for" after he exited the Navy with honors, and the construction company he was working for went out of business. That survivor attitude, partnered with Ted's hard work, honesty and integrity made Appelhanz Construction a respected business in Topeka, Kansas.

I always make a point to let someone know that they have done a good job but when it comes to the health of my family I'm gonna make it a point to let Applehanz roofing know they have not. This would be the 2nd home that we lived in that has been re roofed by this company The 1st time dealing with them it was awesome it was a pretty simple roof but nevertheless they did a great job Now when it comes to the house we live in now the roof had already been done prior to us About 9 months prior which means it's still under warranty according to their contract .Moving in There was no ventilation that

Great experience overall. They were in and out in 1 day. Luke made the bid, selection, planning and post work process smooth and worked with our insurance carrier. The only issues were they were a bit hard on our landscaping and we did have a bit of a mess in our attic storage space to clean up. No issue, just a head's up that it was going to get messy in there would've been helpful

Fantastic customer service. They replaced my roof in a single day and got me on the schedule weeks faster than the other roofing quotes I had. I also needed pictures for insurance purposes and they sent an employee just to take photos for me.

Appelhanz Roofing went above and beyond to provide service for us. They repaired some storm damaged shingles and did roof repair where needed for a very fair price a couple of years ago. More specifically, we put our house for sale on the market recently and they provided a proficient roof inspection. We had 1 shingle square that needed to be replaced from storm/wind damage and Bryan from Appelhanz had a roofer out within hours to fix/replace the square. This was so important because we wanted our house on the market ASAP. Very prompt! Very professional! Excellent service! I strongly recommend
