Jeff began working with his father as a boy picking up nails on job sites.
He has continued working with his 4 brothers (mom is a saint) throughout the years and with over 35 years of experience, has come into his own right as a skilled carpenter with the simple philosophy to create beautiful, unique floors and features for you and your home at a reasonable price. We laid our first floors as Creations Hardwoods in 2015. Prior to that, Jeff Romero, Owner worked with his brother until breaking out on his own. Jeff and his brothers continue to work and play together and remain a tight knit group. Jeff is committed to a quality crew, quality materials, quality work, and quality service.

Our knowledgeable estimators and carpenters will work with you to select the best wood for your home. Nobody beats our carpenters on rail systems and staircases. Creations Hardwoods has 100+ years of combined experience in custom staircases and rail systems. Not sure what you want? Perhaps we can help. Worried about falls? Not a problem! We use no-slip polyurethane on all our staircases for safety, increased UV protection, and additional hardeners to reduce scratches.

Creations Hardwoods just finished hardwood flooring and stairs at our home in Northwest Colorado Springs. Their workmanship was impeccable. The crews worked hard and kept the jobsite clean. The price was more than fair. As important as all that, Nick's creativity and vision solved a problem staircase that other contractors had refused to even try to tackle. They are the best!

They may be all of the above with everyone else's experience however we had a different experience altogether. They initially came to our home on time and the gentleman who gave the quote was extremely professional, cordial, and polite, however everything after that went downhill from there. First they reneged on their capability to do our stairs and was rude about it when they told us. Second, they gave us an incomplete estimate for our floor levels, third, said they gave us an estimate on stair railings, which they didn't (and we didn't ask for), and then finally failed to show up to the second

HIGHLY recommend! This company did a lovely job on our really messed up hardwood floors. It was bad when we moved in from water damage but after boatloads of guests, kids and pets it was in terrible shape. It looks like we replaced the flooring! Seriously! The guys were quick, professional and they did excellent work. They had great attitudes, too. Their process is much faster than what other companies generally take to refinish flooring. It's about half the time and the work is even more beautiful than we could have hoped for. The work is high quality. Again, we highly recommend Creations Hardwoods

Creation Hardwoods did a great job refinishing our floors. We used them for two jobs over the last 6 months. We loved the new floors in the house we sold so had them do the same thing in the house we just bought. Great job on both! They were professional, on time, and went out of their way to get the second job done on a tight schedule before we moved in. Highly recommend Jeff, Stacie and their crew!!

Creations Hardwood did a phenomenal job sanding, staining and refinishing my floors, making over my staircase and installing LVP in my family room! Stacy was prompt in her communication! Jeff was always attentive and willing to work with me, yet honest about what would look good or not. Nick and the team did amazing work! They cleaned up and did not miss one detail! Nick is a real and rare craftsman in town who replaced completely our staircase and built a new mantle with surrounding tiles. From the beginning to the end he and his staffs not only worked diligently but also professionally. We are satisfied greatly with the looks and quality and highly recommend.

We had Creation Hardwoods refinish existing hardwood flooring, remove tile and carpet, lay new hardwood to match the existing hardwood and ended up with the most beautiful hardwood flooring throughout! I cannot thank Jeff, Nick and their staff enough for walking me through this process and being patient with me as I struggled on choosing a stain color. They were extremely reliable, professional and knowledgeable! My 1986 house now has a new fresh look and turned out better than I could have imagined! We are now having them install wood stairs and a new banister! They are amazing at what they do

Creation Hardwoods did a fantastic job on our floors. Nick and his crew refinished the exisiting hardwood and installed new hardwood in one of the rooms. It matches perfectly and they paid close attention to detail. They cleaned up each day and really wanted to make sure we were happy with the stain color and results. I've had my hardwood floors redone in the past and their service was by far the best of anyone else we have used!!

We hired Creations Hardwoods to refinish the hardwoods on our stairs and install a new handrail. Not only were they reasonably priced, but they did a great job on both! In fact, many of our friends/ family members have complimented us on the new look of the stairs. A few months after they completed the job, we had an issue with one of the boards on the stairs. The issue was not their fault, but we called Jeff to come out and take a look. He came out on a Friday afternoon and fixed the board and a few other items, absolutely free of charge. I highly recommend Creations Hardwoods for anyone looking
