We suggest the Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) format as the delivery system for these types of projects. With CMAR, Kaplan is selected as construction manager early in the design/construction process and sees the project through to completion on the client's behalf.

Kaplan Construction managed a complicated renovation and addition at Boston University’s Children’s Center through the COVID-19 pandemic with true professionalism and without impacting the schedule. It was a complete gut renovation. We are excited to provide our faculty and staff with first-rate childcare services adjacent to campus in our new Children’s Center, enabling us to recruit and retain high quality faculty and staff. Kaplan Construction conducted a $6 million construction project for Tremont on the Common. A new Lobby, Fitness Room, Resident Lounge, Pool Deck and 21 Residential Hallways. They did a great job communicating with us and our residents to ensure as little disruption to the normal rhythm of our community. Understanding that Tremont on the Common is home to 650 residents, Kaplan’s project team accommodated special requests.
