We have had them work on our house multiple times. Quality work everytime. Would definitely recommend!

Had no problem arranging a visit for an estimate. Spent over an hour with someone for a vacation home gut with a 100k budget! Was supposed to get the estimate after a week… nothing. Called and was told more like after two weeks I would definitely hear back. Called after three weeks to be told ‘let me contact the person who went to your home’ and… nothing. I’m not sure if it was too large of a job or they didn’t think I was serious but i’m extremely disappointed to have to start this process over with someone else now. I have several properties in the area and will not recommend .

We called Gak Construction for an estimate for a siding job in early May, Angelo came within a week. He gave us an estimate a week later and told us to go down to the showroom and pick out colors, styles, front door etc…. From that point on it was hell. Angelo never returned messages, after 6 weeks and after numerous phone calls and emails went… unanswered we received an email telling us that the prices on material changed and he wanted to know if we were still interested. This was after calling and leaving messages weekly, we told him we were still interested. Another 2 weeks went

My family and I can't thank GAK enough for taking care of us so well. Shortly after purchasing our new home, a major water issue (from the second story deck and all below) was found throughout the entire front wall - rot and mold on top plates, bottom plates, studs, and sheathing. Needless to say, it was pretty stressful to discover.
A friend recommended Angelo with GAK and so I reached out. It was obvious from the get-go that Angelo actually cared and wanted to be sure our home was repaired properly.

I had a roof replaced by GAK 7 years ago, recently I noticed that a small section was buckling possibly due to boards and nails popping. I called them and the next days someone came out to take a look, clipboard in hand he said that it was an easy fix, mind you the roof is only 7 years old. That was over a week ago and I don't expect any return calls or follow up, that's what this company does when the job doesn't pay for there time. My advice, stay away from GAK Construction.

We just had our porch deck replaced by Gak. The carpenter, "Rock" did an excellent job. He was quick, courteous, and took the time to explain what he was doing. He found more rot than expected in the support framing, and Gak replaced it for just a little more than the original estimate. Very fair pricing, about half of the other estimates we got. Very satisfied with this company.... will use them again.

WORST MOST UNPROFESSIONAL RUN BUSINESS. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY. I rented a house from them that would not pass inspection if they tried to sell it. Once I moved out, my security deposit was not returned due to them refinishing the floors that were disgusting, to begin with. They are sick people and take advantage of their young tenants. Absolutely disgusted with this so-called "business."

I needed a roof done and I was told by other roofers it was going to be a big deal ,I met with Angelo to go over an estimate , he was on time friendly and honest ..... I then met with Gary and he told me they would have it done in 6 days ...... I've never seen a crew work so hard and an owner be on site making sure everything was status que , the roof was done in 6 days and it is spectacular !!! They went above and beyond for me , I can't wait to have them do further projects !!!

Angelo and GAK construction did a fantastic reconstruction to my aging home. His team took care of everything from replacing aging sub-framing all the way to finishing the trim work in a beautiful two-tone red oak. I'm writing this 2 years after the completion of the job and can say their work is of the highest quality.

I flew in from across the country to specifically meet with them to work on a house I own. A quote for new kitchen cabinets, painting, new baseboard heating, etc. A lot of work. The meeting was very informative about what they would do which was great because of my limited travel time. So my travel money was spent well. They took measurements throughout the house.

Until I left the area.

With no explanation, the never returned my calls. Nothing. I mean nothing. I spent thousands just to get there to meet with them. For nothing.

And yes GAK. This is a review from what happened a couple years

It was great working with Gak construction. We wanted to add a pool shed that would give us additional storage and a shaded place to sit and relax. They were able to take our not so detailed plans and make it… a reality. We cant wait for the summer to enjoy it. Mike was able to coordinate the different contractors to get to the finish line in a smooth and timely manner. The price was fair and the work professional.

Great company to deal with. The sales man for the estimate was informative and very helpful when I needed a new roof on my house. I am a single woman and he really helped me to understand the procedure and estimate. The crew was very professional. It only took 2 days to do the work and I have a huge roof. The yard was left spotless, not one nail or shingle was left laying out. The even cleaned my deck afterwards. The owner came out after the job was done to check the roof after the completion. I am very impressed and plan on using them for future work on my home. The whole job really turned out

Angelo and the guys really helped me with my house. I bought a foreclosure in Saylorsburg that needed a lot of work. I had GAK remodel the bathroom and redo the old rotted out deck. These were things I wasn't going to do on my own. I got the estimate and the work was done fast. They sent a crew after getting the permits and completed most of the work within a few days. I'm really happy with the results and the price was fair, especially for the quality of work I received. I did a lot of work on this house on my own but it was definitely a good decision to hire GAK for these projects.
