With over 5 years of experience in customer service and contract painting, Chris is a skilled tradesman. Chris provides accurate quotes, and exceptional customers service with completing the job on schedule. Each customer has a different need and Chris meets those over and over with his customer service and creative problem-solving solutions.
From preparation to the finished product, we take great care to ensure that all details are attended to no matter how small. From baseboard and crown installation to exterior wood siding and trim replacement, we prefer to be a one stop shop for our customers. Having a skilled and experienced carpenter on our team makes it all possible.
After the project, we do a walk-through inspection with you to make sure you're completely satisfied. Any touchups needed will be made. Fresh paint jobs average out at around 8 years but if you take care of it, your paint job can last longer. We guarantee our projects for 2 years. Once we schedule a job we will abide by strict deadlines set fourth before the project begins.

We can't thank Chris and his team enough for doing such a wonderful job on our home! We really appreciate the time and care they took to clean and prep the house before painting. They began and finished on the dates they promised. We love the colors and the warm happy feeling we get when we get home! Thanks for making this project outstanding from start to finish Chris!

Great experience working them! I have a small office space for my business I wanted Chris was very punctual and really puts you first. His knowledge of painting is second to none and was very helpful when it came to clarifying a few issues that I was unsure about going into the project. Chris would check in regularly as well to make sure that everything was going to plan and to answer any questions I had. I was very pleased with the customer service overall will definitely be working with them in the future.

I recently purchased a new home in the South San Jose area, and I was looking to change up the outside of my house. I reached out to Chris ad his team and I was impressed with things from the get-go. Very professional and he really puts you first as the customer. I got a quote straight off the bat, no fluff which was nice. I had a few last minute scheduling changes to to make as well a few things that I am very particular about as far the organization in my house and Chris and his team were able to accommodate my requests which was a great plus for me. Chris provided a detailed estimate of the project and suggested the type of paint to use that will not only look great but also last longer. The painters did a great job in preparing the crown moulding, baseboards, trim, door casing and doors. They finished the project ahead of schedule. Chris inspected the painters work and ask that they correct minor flaws until it was done to his high standards. I would definitely use Cal Painting again on future projects.

We contracted Cal Painting Plus to paint our small Victorian house in downtown San Jose. Owner, Chris, was very prompt and professional. His painters were courteous and very good about cleaning up after themselves. The job took longer than expected but it was at no fault of theirs, the weather did not cooperate. In the end we are extatic with the results and the wonderful paint job makes it feel like we are showing up to a new house now! We cant wait to have them come back to freshen up our house inside! We highly recommend Cal Painting Plus to anyone looking to get a quality paint job.
