Roman and Jay are the nicest and most professional plumbers in the biz! They recently installed a new disposal in our kitchen and then did a major job of getting city water turned on for the backyard so we can switch back and forth between city and well water. They were always on time, friendly, professional, respectful and wore booties in the house. They were super fast and made sure they didn't have to turn the water off for long. I couldn't have been happier. Highly recommended, 10 stars!!!

I contacted Roman's Plumbing along with 3 other plumbing contractors that advertised serving Sonoma County for a hot water recirculating system installation in my Oakmont 2 bathroom home. I arranged an assessment appointment with Roman's needing an experienced evaluation and estimate for the best way to proceed. Jay showed up on schedule and on time, walked me through my options with good explanations, including a tankless system. I do not have enough superlatives to describe the level of service that we received from Jason. He was prompt, thoughtful, meticulous and fully dedicated to figuring out what was wrong with our downstairs toilet that was leaking water under the base. He crawled under the house just to double check that what he believed was the problem was actually correct. He made a follow-up phone call because he thought of one other thing after he left the house. What service person does that?!Three years ago, he replaced our broken hot water heater and provided the same level of service so this is not a fluke

I was quoted $2200 for a job that should have cost $500 or less. When I said it didn't look anything like a $2200 job, Jason went to his truck and spent time speaking to someone (office), he came back and said how about $1500? I knew this was still 3x what it should have cost but I relented. This was the last job I will ever do with Romans as too many plumbers (Ongaro, Dolcini, small jobs, Peter Levi) are testing just how much the naive public are willing to bear. Just call Joe's Plumbing for a fair deal. No, I don't work for Joe's.

This review is long overdue as Roman's plumbing has now been out to our place a couple of times, albeit years apart and completely unrelated issues.

I originally posted a review with issues I had over charges that I felt were too high given the service rendered (My wife was home while I was at work). After doing so, I called and left a voicemail regarding this problem as well as a problem that was still present. After doing so, I received a call from the owner who apologized and went out of her way to make everything right. She found an error in the charge and let me know she was making a correction. She also sent their plumber back out to our home.

I love these guys. They mask up for safety. They keep you apprised of the status and cost of your repair. They installed our water heater. My master bath was remodelled in 2018. The contractor's plumber said my sinks could not be installed the way I planned. Roman's to the rescue. Perfectly done without a problem. Two years later, the shower fixture started leaking. Roman ordered the Parts from Florida. Once they arrived, I had my shower promptly repaired.

I've been using Roman's since 2011, when my water main sprang a leak. Roman's has always been honest, and I value that highly. They do great work and take the time to explain their charges up front and what they're going to do.

The first time they needed to clean out my kitchen pipes, they recommended they install a cleanout. I took that recommendation and have been super happy I did. Whenever they need to come clean out my kitchen pipes, it takes them so much less time (and therefore saves me money).

I used to recommend these guys strongly. They've lost their minds. Less than 5 years ago, they installed one complex expensive part to manage water pressure at my tiburon home. When Roman finished I expressed concern over the exposed joints when prior plumbers had painted or covered those joints. Now 5 years later, those joints have failed causing a 1 gallon per year leak. Not a big deal but a problem that needs to be repaired. After a $95 cost to come quote the "repair" (which I thought was a warranty item) his guy tells me I need to pay $1595 and replace the entire unit as

Charged by the hour and tried doing the same thing over and over for 3 hours with no results! Also carried the filthy, dripping snake through my house with nothing protecting my floors and made a mess everywhere. Left disgusting wipes pulled from the sewage pipe laying on my lawn and left behind their drain snake when they left! I paid $770 for all this!!!
They recommended I call Rooterman Plumbing and they were WONDERFUL. Will never call Roman's again.

Peter came by the next morning after we called 4pm previous day with a probable faulty thermocouple issue on our water heater. A very pleasant guy who was quick to assess and get going on a fix. He was respectful of our home, wearing shoe covers on our boots. Just over an hour later we have hot water. I appreciated them rolling the diagnostic fee (95 per half hour or 170 per hour) into the overall final cost ($275). I would have thought cost was high, but having consulted many other companies, it was acually a bit better than the going rate in Sonoma County. It helped that our Rheem water heater

Roaman's literally saved me from my pile of sewage yesterday.
I got home from work at 4 in the afternoon, ran a load of laundry, ran the dishwasher, and then realized that my toilets and bathtubs/showers were filling up with sewage.

A nice bit of mail to come home to... a personalized Thank You card from the folks that put our new water heater in. I don't hardly ever plug a business, but this one I will. Every positive review I read about them or heard through my brother's having been recommended to them before were spot on. Super nice, super efficient, and polite and… compassionate, from the folks on the phone to all 3 different guys that came to the house. Nothing dirty, yet even still when one guy asked to use the bathroom, still put foot covers on before coming inside. The way he did it, I can tell it's routine
