Excellent experience working with Carl and his team. Extremely professional throughout and the work exceeded our expectations. We had our entire main level wood floors sanded and stained. Stain was applied evenly, old wear marks in our floor were repaired and the floors look brand new. Highly recommend reaching out to Carl for flooring needs.

Used ProSand Flooring at The Ball & Biscuit on Mass Ave to refinish the reclaimed hardwood floors in our lounge area. The crew was punctual, professional and polite. They repaired some very worn areas and sanded and refinished the whole floor. Looks great! Carl was great to work with and pricing was extremely competitive!

We used ProSand to refinish our original hardwood floors from 1910. They sanded/stained these floors and installed new hardwood flooring in other parts of the house to match the existing old hardwood. They also did some repair work, replacing some of the old boards that had been damaged. We were very pleased with their work. Carl is easy to work with and the pricing is very fair.

Like others have mentioned the owner leaves a lot to be desired once he has gotten the deposit. Carl talks a great game but his word has little to no worth in my opinion. A big part of the problem is I do not believe he has any employees. So since all his work is "completed" by sub-contractors that he has picked but its the luck of the draw for you. My luck was not good. The subs left the Brazilian Cherry floors pretty much a mess. I was just glad they left. Carl has no apatite to talk to you once you have made the payment. We returned to ProSand a few days ago to check out pricing for some tile for our guest bathroom. We bought tiling (floor and backsplash) for our kitchen from ProSand about a year ago and really liked their service and the pricing. We haven't made up our minds on the tiling, but we did find a beautiful Karastan rug for our parlor! We really enjoy working with this business - their prices are competitive, the installation crews are professional, and Carl has an eye for detail. We highly recommend ProSand.

We had ProSand refinish our floors (two stories, stairs, and handrail), and paint the interior of the house. The job was superb. The staff was professional, friendly and patient. The work is impeccable. And, Carl, the company Pres., personally visited to bid the job and make sure all was done well.
The price was on par with the others, if not a little cheaper.

We had a very good experience with Carl and his installation team. They gave us a great deal on the backsplash tiles for our kitchen. After it was installed, Carl came by the house to check on his team's work and noticed that our hardwood floors in the main hallway were worn out - the floors are over 80 years old! He recommended that we resurface and replace some of the cracked boards, and since we had just purchased the backsplash tiles, he gave us a nice discount on the resurfacing work. I recently purchased a new (old) home with 100-yr-old original heart pine floors with an orange-y finish and deporable worn condition. I contacted six companies about refinishing, and received varying opinions, including two who refused to do it at all and said the floors must be replaced. I went with ProSand because the price seemed fair, I wanted to preserve the antique floors, and they could do the job within a few weeks (the others were scheduling 6 weeks out). They ended up doing my job a week earlier bc someone else moved back their job to a later date.

Had one of their vans almost cause a wreck this morning. After trying to cut me off in traffic the employee flipped me off. I called there shop and the gentleman that picked up the phone tried yelling at me for calling it in. Extremely unprofessional and would suggest anyone to use a different flooring company.

Just like everyone else has written, the owner Carl Padron, was extremely rude. He hung up on me and my contractor. I paid him thousands of dollars to have wood delivered on time and it arrived almost a week after his promised date. This delay has cost me thousands of dollars. He refused to take any responsibility for his services and promises.
To… call Carl arrogant and rude is an understatement. It is unfathomable an owner of a business would hang up on a customer that's paying him thousands of dollars. Do yourself a favor and take your business to a company with good customer service

Just like the other reviews. The owner, Carl Pedron, was extremely rude and hung up on a customer who paid him thousands of dollars. He demanded to know my age so he could belittle me. He promised the wood would be delivered on time, but it was a week late! He made no attempt at making the problem right. He said it wasn't his problem, but in reality it is his problem because I paid him and he promised the wood by a certain date and he did not deliver. When confronted, he got exceptionally mad and hung up on me. It was honestly unbelievable how he acted towards a paying customer. He

Buyer BEWARE! Terrible attitude. I was told that they could refinish my floors and they do look good except for the rude man, Carl. After the floors were done, our dogs urinated on the floor and it was cleaned up within a couple of hours but left a stain right in the middle. Carl came out and was extremely rude and said there was not one thing that could be done. They should have never agreed to do our floors or should have told us to keep the dogs out for over 2 weeks to allow the finish to harden up. The finish is terrible and I asked specifically about that before the floors were done

I felt the same way when I called them, When the guy came out and took measurements he told me I had to come to his show room to select product and talked down to me like I was stupid and wasting his time. What also irritated me was he could not give me even a ball park estimate on the job and he said he would not know anything until he e-mails me the quote on Monday. I was going to try to keep my money local but I decided to go with Empire Today after all the local companies here in Indy seem to not care about the customer or there needs.

I called this company to inquire about them doing some work on my hardwood floors. The guy who answered the phone repeatedly cut me off within the first 45 seconds of the conversation.
He basically gave me the, "Look, ma'am..." (read: you stupid, ignorant woman)
Well, this educated female attorney who wanted to have her hardwoods completely redone in a 3600 square foot home will take her business elsewhere.
To the rude business owner that answered the phone -- thanks for showing your true colors right away and ensuring that I did not
