I hired fair contractors to do a complete house repaint (interior), wooden flooring and re-fit our kitchen with custom cabinets.
The Good:
The only thing i can say i am truly happy with is the wooden flooring, which was completely outsourced to a third party. They did have to relay one of the bedrooms as it was not properly sealed with moisture barrier the first time (despite me telling them to do it), however in fairness to them they did replace the entire room 10 months later under warranty.
In fairness to the company they did come recommended by a friend.
The owner seems like a reasonable

We can only speak for our ourselves; For tax day flood 2016, they were over priced, could not adjust corrections appropriately, used inferior products than quoted and agreed to, used inferior labor causing many things to have to be redone, failed permit inspections several times, tried to add to pricing a-la-cart AFTER estimate was agreed to claiming "its only an estimate", except their estimate was their contract. Sheetrock guys were great but beyond that, they may show up and may not. The front guy is very charming but lead guy calls the shots. So you deal with owner only to not go
