I hired Shades of Green to remove my old asphalt driveway and widen it in preparation for a new driveway. The owner, Ryan, was very professional and showed up to do the work as scheduled. The work they performed only took him and his crew a day, and was much less expensive than other quotes I received. I have already scheduled a walkway install with Shades of Green for the spring to complete my new front yard. Very pleased with their services and would definitely recommend to others to reach out if you need any landscape construction done!

Ryan disappeared after we had been in contact about a job for two months. He kept saying next week, next week until he just stopped responding altogether. He’s done my mulch for the last few years (although the price has often come out higher than the estimate) but I had not had any issues with reliability until now. So frustrating to be starting over two months later.

Initial responsiveness was good and was much appreciated. The crew showed up on the initial job to reseed and mulch, as requested. The owner seemed to promise good results, but lawn was a disappointment and never bothered to follow up with routine lawn care. Seems like he's concerned about short term gains, but not interested in building a strong reputable business.

Now I know. Ryan does a great job with the mowing, I'll give him that. But I decided to have Shades do my fertilizing and then I knew that I was getting hosed by the three other Fertilizing services I used prior. I water half as much and my lawn is twice as green. Grubs are gone and thank you Ryan for taking care of the mosquito's.
My wife and I also asked Shades install solid granite steps which came out so great!! A back yard patio is next.
