Sauerwein Construction Company, Inc. was founded in 1976 as S & S Construction. Michel Sauerwein built his reputation on quality and the ability to meet deadlines within budget. The companys growth made it necessary for Frank Sauerwein to join the company in 1976, and Rudi Sauerwein joined the family team in 1979.
Plaza Beastro Project is a new restaurant facility for the Sedgwick County Zoo. The facility offers a larger kitchen area to accommodate bigger groups dining at the zoo, a room off the dining area for birthday parties or special interest group meetings. The interior color scheme, windows in clerestory and exterior walls of insulated glass offer a very open feel to the restaurant.
