The Atmospheric Vacuum Breaker is a non-testable unit and are good for back siphonage only for non-health hazard or health hazard conditionings. They must be installed downstream from any shut off valves and cannot be under any pressure. These are common on your outside hose connections. The Double Check Valves are used in non-health hazard (pollutant) conditions only and are designed to protect against backflow pressure and back siphonage.

Had a clogged underground pipe.. Called them mid-morning and was told they could possibly be here in the late afternoon. They were here before noon and gone in less than 2 hours. The guy that showed up was efficient, polite, knowledgeable and was just a good person in general. I want to say his name was Nathan, but I'm not 100% positive. Either way, if I ever need work done again, they'll get my business. Very fair pricing and quick to get the job done right. 👍😁

Our water bypass valve broke and was spraying water everywhere, and our main valve to stop the leak broke, as well, leading to us having the water department perform and emergency water shutoff. We called Sauk Valley Plumbing at 8:00 AM on a Monday, and by 9:30 AM they had fixed the problem and were already gone, and our water was working again perfectly. The office clerk and plumber (Nathan) were both professional, kind, and super helpful. I would call them again in a heartbeat!!

Bought a house in polo and needed the heating and hot water heater replaced. They came out and looked at the situation, the guy told me his plan to fix the problem, gave me an estimate and told me he would be back to start the job as soon as possible. After a few weeks, I called to see when he would be back. The secretary told me she would have him call me back. I received no call. I called several more times over the next two months, and still received no call. The least he could have done was inform me that he wasn't interested in doing the job. Ignoring customers is rude and completely unprofessional

I called them other hottest day of the year to replace my water heater. Although they were booked up for a week they made it out and replaced my water heater in just a few hours. Very professional. Very kind and answered all my questions. I would recommend them to everyone. I couldn't be happier. Thanks guys!

After having another repair company at my business 4 times and being told I need to replace my cooler, I called Sauk Valley Plumbing and Tim had his guys there the next morning. They found the leak in my system and fixed it as well as cleaned my coils so it will run more efficient! They cleaned up after themselves and were just awesome guys to deal with!! I will definitely use them again and I highly recommend them!

This place is a very poorly ran business its ridiculous they have poor management skills and i called 3 times about a plumbing problem and was put off all 3 times she told me every time she would get us in the next day, but never called we had tenates relying on them to come, we had to call every day and check back, i thought this was very poor of them THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A JOKE I THINK IN SMALL TOWNS LIKE THIS WORD SHOULD GET OUT AND NO ONE SHOULD GO WITH THEM. THE RECEPTIONIST WAS VERY RUDE AND COULD NOT TELL US WHEN ANYONE WOULD BE AVALIABLE FOR A JOB

We made the mistake of hiring these guys once, and it will be the last time-- I've thrown out their card and found a new plumber.
They decided that since no one was home at the time, they could just back up a dump truck to fill in the well pit with giant clay clods, glass, and garbage, leaving an unbelievable mountain of mess, while blocking the only entrance to the house with the half-buried wood planking that had been on top of the pit, now jutting up in the air several feet.
