Joy, Jobe and their crew were fantastic. We tore out old plants from the bed and replaced them based on Joy's recommendations. They also placed edgers around the perimeter. We've received multiple compliments from our neighbors and at least one has engaged Jobes for their plant bed. Highly recommended.

I can’t speak to quality and value. We never got that far. Their communication is tragic. Once, I gave them another chance. Twice? The day of their appointment Joy sent her elderly mother to cancel by telephone. Cancelled, hours before the appointment after I gave them a second chance.
My suggestion, people of LSD, go elsewhere.

Awful service! The company came out and did a survey for our landscape request. In order to provide us with a design plan, they charged us closed to $600. We made a mistake and paid the company. This survey took place in October of 2020 and as of today, we haven't received any plan. We kept receiving the excuse that one of the owners or worker has COVID and therefor the delay and they will send the plan after New Year's holiday. We sympathized with the situation and said no problem. It's now end of February and still no plan. We left numerous voicemails and sent email and when they

Expect your phone calls to be returned? Need more than a day's notice before your project begins? Expect to be treated respectfully? Then Jobe's is NOT the landscaping company for you. Joy was the person I worked with. If you have questions she will be condescending; apparently my landscaping budget wasn't much to her because she threw that in my face. I realized I had forgotten to add landscaping fabric until mulch was ready to go down. My husband was 15 minutes from bringing it but Joy said no! She had the crew dump the mulch and off they went. Jobe's Landscape did an excellent job designing and implementing a landscape plan that exceeded our expectations. The plan included multiple areas in our front and back yards, trees, plants, shrubs and stone work. The design incorporated our ideas as well as Jobe's to create a very coordinated and complementary space. Everyone that walks by the house stops to admire the work. Their staff and owner were professional and knowledgeable and completed the work as planned.

Jobe's did a fantastic job on designing our new landscaping. They took the time to sit with us, ask questions about what we liked and did not like and then presented a proposal that was tailored to our house and not just what they wanted to give us. They're entire staff, from the front office to the guys doing the planting were amazing. They are a great company to work with.

Jobe's Landscape did a beautiful job landscaping our front yard! Jobe designed a plan, and he and Joy answered all of our questions about caring for and maintaining the shrubs. They installed a 2-zone irrigation system but were able to use some of the existing watering system as well. They installed lighting and with Jobe's recommendations about type and location, the front of our house looks phenomenal at night! Several weeks ago I contacted Jobe's about some imaginative landscape lighting. Joy was very prompt in setting up a meeting and also very patient with me and my questions. I contracted for the work. The installers came on time and did a very neat job. Every light was perfectly placed. There was no need for any repositioning. For the first few weeks after installation I would drive by my house each night to see how marvelous it looks. I heartedly recommend Jobe's.

Jobe did my initial landscaping a few years ago. I have been more than pleased with their design and services. They come to my home every year in the Spring and late Fall for mulching and pruning. My husband and I recently retired in Lewes, DE buying a home that was perfect for us on the inside but the exterior left much to be desired. The home hadn't been lived in for 2 years and the overgrowth, weedy exterior made us initially overlook the home. We knew we'd need to have professional landscaping. I spoke with neighbors and received glowing review for Jobe's. Initially, we had them clear out the dead, overgrown mess. That alone made a difference. Terrible customer service.
Be careful, once they get their payment of half down you'll have a hell of a time getting them back to complete the job in a timely manner.
They just don't reply.
Also, poor quality for the extremely high price.
Do yourself a favor and shop around. Don't get shafted by Jobe Landscape.

Assuming most people do because if it is a bad experience they don't want to waste their time re-telling it and having to deal with backlash. Websites are good at getting people to share their "good" experiences. Leaving many companies "grades" a bit over inflated.
End of Aug 2018 I contracted and paid a design fee to Jobe to do a landscape design for my entire lawn. (it is a small area).

Jobe's was very responsive, showed up on time and completed the job on time. I have found that to be a shortcoming with contractors. One of the key parameters is not only what I just mentioned but how they FINISH the job. Our neighbors had a similar patio installed and the contractor left the dirt in a corner and didn't seed or put turf down. Clean up was A +. I found that they knew the materials and stayed on budget. No surprises, just a nice patio!
