If you're like most people, you or someone you know has experienced a construction project that turned into a disaster. This low bar expectation has become the standard in the construction industry. I've heard people say the worst experience they ever had was their construction project. It shouldn't be like that and it doesn't have to be!
After forty plus years in the construction industry I've learned a lot and we're putting those lessons into practice. One of the biggest lessons learned is that construction dreams turning into a nightmare usually isn't a construction problem.it's a communication problem. After graduating from high school in 1977 I began framing for a local contractor while simultaneously farming with my Dad.
After his death in the early '90s I decided to pursue construction full time. Over the next fifteen years I was self-employed installing cabinets, framing, remodeling and building barns. Next I and two others started and ran SMR Builders a full-service construction company.

Mark prides himself in being thorough. Upon contacting Timber Creek Construction, a time will be scheduled to come look at your project. After discussing what it is you want to accomplish and with input from Mark you have the option of getting an estimate, a proposal or time and material. Once the procedure is chosen the next step will be determined.
I was asked by the bank to look at this project due to a deteriorating window and siding. After looking at the building and giving the bank a proposal, it was decided that we would replace the pressed hardboard lap siding on both gables and the vertical board batt siding on the east side around the window with fiber-cement siding.
My primary concerns in hiring a contractor was to find someone who would complete the project on time, in budget, with good craftsmanship, and whom we felt comfortable with being in our home while we were gone. Mark and Timber Creek Construction easily exceeded all these goals. My wife and I are very pleased with the communication and quality of work done for us.
Having spent most of my adult life working in the construction industry I have experienced the difficulties and struggles that come with it. I've seen unhappy customers and contractors who didn't understand why. I've seen way too many building projects run over budget or behind schedule. I've seen contractors scrambling to make ends meet and customers who think everything costs too much.
