PRESSURE REGULATORS are used to regulate the incoming pressure of water to your home, pool or irrigation system. Typically, they are located outside the home where the plumbing enters the residence, next to the main house valve and hose bibb. They can be adjusted to the recommended operating pressure for the relevant application.
We recommend 55-65psi. If you do not have a regulator, or the unit has failed it can be detrimental to the plumbing. How? Too much pressure can spring leaks resulting in increased water consumption (higher water bill) and can cause significant damage to cabinets, flooring, drywall, baseboards, paint, etc.
And an even larger headache! Too low of pressure can also be troublesome. If the low pressure is only affecting a particular kitchen or bathroom faucet, check the screens. It's possible hard water deposits or a build up of sediment has restricted the water flow. If low pressure is affecting the entire house and your main shut off valve is opened fully, chances are your pressure regulator needs to be checked.

Van Rooy Plumbing is proud to have satisfied the Lake Havasu plumbing needs of residents in the city and surrounding areas for over 30 years! Whether you have a simple clogged drain or a major plumbing emergency, Van Rooy Plumbing is your number one source for professional service. We surpass the competition not only in value, but in reliability and pride in our workmanship.
A WATER HEATER should satisfy your hot water needs while using as little energy as possible. The standard size water heater is 40 or 50-gallons. The capacity of gallons should be based on the number of occupants, not the size of home. The peak hour water demand, the number of faucets, sinks, and tubs should also be taken under consideration.

Called them on a holiday weekend and the guy showed up very fast. I would recommend this company over any other out there, and I've had 2 others here before. The gentleman was courteous, knew his trade, and was very helpful in identifying why we were having a problem and what we could expect in the future with the age of our plumbing. I wish I had caught his name, because his company should know what a great ambassador for thier brand he is. He was the on call plumber on 7/3/21. I can't say enough how happy I am to have gotten such great help!!!

Outstanding customer service from the initial call to the completion of the job. And upfront, very honest and fair pricing too. The inital call with Lauren was professional and pleasant. I explained what I wanted done and she gave me a quote over the phone without hesistation unlike other companies. I subsequently agreed and scheduled the work to be done. Day of, the technician, Arlee, arrives. He was very friendly, professional and went straight to work. Did the work as agreed and also had him do a couple of other items that came up and had no problem addressing it right there and then

I would recommend Van Rooy Plumbing to anyone. I have used them many times. They installed a new RO system, fixed a major water main leak, installed a new dishwasher, and replaced faucet cartridges in both of my showers. Soon I'll be calling on them to install a new water softener. They are honest, fairly priced, and do excellent work.

Great company, Had to do a total pipe replacement on our havasu home we just purchased like so many other homeowners here. Got another Est and Van Rooys was very competive on pricing, plus they did not think they needed to tear up our tiled wall like the other plumbers wanted to so that saved us money. They workers came in and replaced all out pipes in 2 or 3 days did everything they said they would do hauled all the drywall away and left us a pretty clean home. This is with us not being in even being there in havasu (we are from San Diego). We would highly recommend them for any repair or plumbing

Called Van Rooy over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend with a leaking pipe in the wall. Lauren made us an appointment for Monday. Mike showed up and was very professional and knowledgeable. He had to come back the next day to complete the repair and showed genuine care and concern for our home. He was friendly and thorough and the invoice seemed more than fair.

Just a note about price. I needed a repipe in my mobile home at the Islander. Asked for a quote. Van Rooy sent out an estimator who was very nice. Estimate came back at over $4,500.00! Ok, so we are talking about a one bedroom one bath 500 square foot house with incredibly easy access. I called Van Rooy in a very nice manner to question why the ridiculously high price. They stated, true story, that its a set price per area no matter what Called Craig plumbing who did a great job for just over $2,600.00....just sayin'.

This company is fantastic. We're new in town and I got a reference from a good friend of mine to contact PB & J water for a plumbing issue I had. unfortunately they didn't have anybody available for me due to my emergency but they referred me to Van Rooy plumbing and they recommended that they usually refer customers to them when they're fully booked which I was so thankful they did. Both companies are forever going to be my number one priority. First both companies have great customer service. Kenzie and Pam at PB & J water are fantastic and understanding. I can&apos

We had one the big corporate plumbing companies called out to our rental for a backed up kitchen drain. We were told it was collapsed and had to be replaced to the tune of $18k. Kevin came out this morning and cleared it for their normal drain cleaning price. Very impressed!! Thanks Kevin and thank you Van Rooy Plumbing.

Used Van Rooy Plumbing for the second time this week on our vacation home in Havasu. Lauren "always a professional and sweet as possible" booked us on the day we were in town at a very convenient time.
Brian showed up right on time and completed the installation of a kitchen faucet, fixed the leaking shower valve and adjusted a running toilet.
I Was totally shocked at how reasonable the bill was!!!
Very experienced plumbers , both Mike and Brian.
Will definitely use them for any plumbing job we have in the future.....

My husband is a plumber, but we live in Los Angeles and needed a small job done on our mobile home in Lake Havasu. VanRooy Plumbing was able to get out there within 30 minutes of my call even though it was not an emergency, replaced my tub spout quickly, kept my renters happy, and charged a fair price. It's hard to manage things from out of state, and I'm so happy to have found a plumber I can rely on. We will certainly use them again. Thanks guys!

Van Rooy Plumbing sent a plumber out to my rental home to fix a leaking shower valve and a water softner that was on the fritz. The plumber, Mike, called me from the house to explain the problems and the cost for repairs. Van Rooy's labor rate was a reasonable $79 per hour and the parts were priced fairly. The repairs were made quickly and to the satisfaction of my tenants.
Before leaving, Mike checked my water pressure and found it to be 100psi. He tried to adjust the pressure regulator, but it was shot. He called to tell me and I authorized the regulator's replacement, as I
