Deehan Landscaping, Inc. is located in Merrifield, VA and serves the Northern Virginia area. I consider myself a Northern Virginia local, having moved here with my family in 1971. As avid gardeners, my parents found their 2-acre property to be a never-ending source of pleasure. Under their influence I gained a deep understanding and appreciation for the natural environment.
Continuing education plays an important role in providing our clients with excellent results. To keep current with the most up-to-date horticultural approaches and practices, we are active members of our industry's leading organizations. Our team leaders attend several seminars throughout the year taught by professionals in our industry.
At Deehan Landscaping, Inc., our employees work well together as a group due to a strong sense of teamwork. We believe in taking care of our customers by taking care of our team members. We feel this pro-team attitude has rewarded us with a very low turn-over rate since our start-up in 1985. Our employees are highly-motivated, highly-skilled and highly-experienced.
When you enlist our professional services, you will be assigned a Landscape Maintenance Team consisting of a team leader and a technician. We encourage you to become familiar with your service team. They are typically assigned to your property for a period of no less than one season. After each visit, our team leader will leave a service visit ticket indicating services performed.
Our landscape designs combine natural beauty with function and sustainability. Whatever specific style or purpose you may have in mind, we can translate your dream garden into reality. To assist in developing your landscape design concept, you are surveyed to determine your likes & dislikes, as well as the functionality and maintenance requirements for your landscape makeover project.

Deehan Landscaping helped us with the installation of a major backyard renovation, including drainage, stonework, hardscaping and plant installation. Our job turned out to be more complicated than either we or they had imagined due to drainage challenges, but Cate, Jaime and team rose to the challenge with patience, creative problem solving and unwavering professionalism until the job was completed to Deehan's high standards. We could not be happier with the results! The entire Deehan's crew is well trained, polite and professional. Deehan's is a first rate firm and a pleasure to work with.

After contacting several lawn service companies, we decided that Deehan best fit our needs. They began our lawn service in April 2020. We are extremely pleased with their work and attention to detail. Any weather delays to service are always communicated, as well as detailed billing. In early May they spent an entire day doing a spring cleanup and mulching. We appreciate their hard work and for refreshing our lawn.

Jaime and Cate are wonderful. First, they service small ponds. I get mine serviced twice a year and then in emergencies they respond quickly and efficiently at a fair price. Their design team installed new landscaping this fall incorporating my favorite plants both native and ornamental. They pleased not only myself but my neighbor because we share a courtyard. Pleasing two clients at the same time isn’t always easy. They are great. I cannot day enough good things.

I have used Deehan Landscaping for my lawn care for several years and have be extremely pleased with their professionalism and their results. They have taken the time to assess my specific lawn requirements and provided advise as to how to correct my lawn and landscaping issues. Their personnel are hard workers and unobtrusive as they work on my yard. In the fall they do an outstanding job of clearing my yard of leaves, making multiple passes to remove the leaves as the season progresses. I always disliked raking leaves and they provide the perfect solution. I highly recommend their services.
