Services
A professional landscape project starts with a professional design. We start by visiting your location. We work from current topography and/or building plans, when available. One of our designers will walk the property with you, and listen to what you envision as the end result. This includes a comprehensive discussion about how the property will be used.
McNamara Bros., Inc. provides year-round comprehensive landscape maintenance services for your property. Our company provides you with the security of knowing that your grounds are being managed by the most responsible landscape company on Cape Cod. Property owners appreciate us because we are reliable, trustworthy consistent and affordable, and because our staff is professional.
McNamara Bros Inc. employs licensed and certified Applicators. They are well educated regarding the care of lawns, shrubs and trees. Our specialists are trained to recognize and resolve problems in a safe and effective manner. McNamara Bros., Inc. will design, install, and maintain an in-ground irrigation system for healthy lawns and gardens.
Any property that has deciduous trees such as - oak, maple, cherries, birch, beach, and ash should think about having a Winter Moth Caterpillar treatment performed at the property. The winter moth caterpillars are small and green resembling inchworms, and typically can be seen hanging from a long strand of webbing.
Since bark mulch is a natural product recycled from the bark of certain types of trees, it is environmentally friendly and biodegradable. There are different types of mulch, pine, hemlock, black, red etc. it all depends on your preference. One thing to keep in mind is that if applied annually, you may only need a top dressing to make the mulch look beautiful again.

On Nov 18 technician David came to clear the water from my underground sprinkler system after two other irrigation maintenance firms failed to come who had previously performed this task (one of which was actually the installer of the system). Upon my request David carefully explained many details of the system which I did not understand, and at the end performed two additional steps, which he explained: leaving the butterfly valves slightly open and removing the battery from the system controller. The two previous firms had never done these tasks. I was very satisfied with David&apos

When we had to redesign the walkways, patios and landscaping at our Cape home, we took great effort to select the right company. Tom Dempsey of McNamara Bros exhibited extraordinary competence and caring in working with us from initial design through completion, His insight, thoughtful suggestions and detailed oversight of the project made a complex project feel less overwhelming, especially since we were not onsite . He guided us expertly through the process and made sure that the project came in on time. Hats off! to an extraordinary professional.

My husband and I worked with Tom D at McNamara for a pretty significant overhaul of our backyard in the Cape. Tom coached us each step of the way, kept us informed regarding issues, sent us photos (our primary residence is in Boston) of the progress and displayed enormous patience with us when we were presented with a pretty significant construction issue (NOT due to McNamara) that we had to correct ourselves. While the project took longer than expected (again, not due to McNamara) we were extremely happy with the results and now have a functional space to entertain weekend guests during the season
