We had our house completely painted the summer of 2020. The guys did a fabulous job and after this past winter it still looks great. We had lots of flaking previously and they were so knowledgeable - we needed shims under the cedar siding to allow it to breathe and that has done the trick. The prep work is really the key to a lasting paint job and Jason went above and beyond to be sure everything was scraped and primed properly. The Final Coat is not the cheapest estimate you will get, but they are fair and do the job right.

I filled out the request for quote on their website and haven't heard back from them. Oddly enough, I was contacted soon after by Ohio Painters, whom I had not ever been in contact with prior. After looking through reviews of both companies it appears this might be happening to other people. The Final Coat's website is not secure, be careful of what information you provide for them. I can't say anything about the company other than that but I do feel its something that other people should be aware of. If someone is stealing data from their website they should be aware and work to fix that problem

We have vaulted ceilings in the great room and kitchen and I've always wanted the drab paint touched up. Since it's not an exciting project we never got around to it. After meeting Carla and Jason through the Akron Home & Garden Show I had them come out to take a look. The quote was extremely reasonable and they were prompt in getting the work scheduled. The team was friendly and courteous to work with. They took great care in protecting the walls and furniture as well. I didn't know if something simple like a coat of paint and repair work to a ceiling would be noticeable, but it really has made

My house isn’t an easy one to paint and there was a lot to do. They finished in a nice timely manner. I am so happy with them I am going to have them do my interior in the near future as well! They painted the wood exterior of our home. I was very pleased with the excellent quality of the work. During the painting process, all of the painters were courteous, friendly and were professional at all times. They were careful around plants and thoroughly cleaned up after they were done. They were responsive to questions and explained in detail the work they were doing. In addition, they made wood repairs to a garage door and side door that made them both look new. Overall results were superb and will be considering them for another painting job in the near future.

I coordinated having front doors painted in my condo community a couple summers ago. We have 3 door colors, and the representative was supposed to match to those. The match isn't even close. The forest green doors are now blue-green, and the red doors are a reddish brown. Worse, the paint chosen has a chalky, primer look. The actual quality of the painting was outstanding, but I just paid a new painter to repaint my door red like it was supposed to be. I would recommend not hiring this company unless you select the paint color and type yourself.

The Final Coat has been helping us update our home(s) for over 6 years. The team is always on time, courteous and ready to work. They spend quality time on their estimates and include all the pertinent details so that the crews are well informed when they arrive. I have never been disappointed with the quality of their work on both interior and exterior surfaces. The crews always go the extra mile to clean up and to keep my tile and woodwork protected. The Office Manager, Carla, always lets you know how things are going and is wonderful to work with. I highly recommend them for any painting job
