Instead of painting our house exterior and deck cover AGAIN, we decided to stop painting every four or five years and find a long-term solution. After researching the possibilities (regular painting vs. a long-term solution), we focused on finding a company to apply the CoolWall process to our home.

I had GBC replace the aging asphalt shingles on my 1760 square-foot house. Unlike some of the other contractors I tried to get bids from, they were responsive to questions and accommodating with scheduling. I was able to get the Owens Corning Duration COOL shingles that I'd been looking for, and the installation was completed in the planned timeline. I'm very satisfied with the workmanship; the roof looks great. They did a good job cleaning up afterwards as well.

There seems to be some problems coming from the top. They refuse to finish the project for customers after they've collected their money. They apparently give you the best warranty, but the warranties aren't registered with the manufacturer. For future customers thinking about getting a roof done, please consider going with another contractor that will be honest with their work, prices, and warranty.

What can I say, I was looking for a different GC to complete our exterior stucco/repairs, and after doing some research came across GBC Remodeling. I am so pleased to have a company that was extremely informative, courteous and on the same level from the start. They were prompt from the initial meeting all the way through the construction, and made sure all items were addressed and taken care of. Steve was the PM on the job and he was out on site every few days to make sure everything was going as planned and on schedule with the crews. NOT RECOMMENDED. I had scheduled an appointment for my father's home. Mariah said they prefer someone with good English to be home and I said his English is pretty good and that I'll be there. I felt that was a bit of a racist comment but I let it go. I wasn't home when they came (I tried but something came up). My father's English is fair and not bad. The inspector came and spoke to my father but did not do the inspection. I told Mariah when I scheduled the appointment that we just wanted to do a lift and relay and it's not my fault she didn't tell her inspector

Just got our roof done with GBC remodeling. Lawrence the sales guy was great. Connected on our level. Explained everything from start to finish. Alex, the project manager, was very informational and friendly as well. The guys came out, scraped the roof off and had a new one finished the next day. Also had our solar uninstalled and reinstalled with them. The solar was reinstalled two days after the roof was finished. So fast!

We had a fabulous experience with GBC. Aaron (owner) personally came out to give us a quote. He was honest, reasonably priced, and upfront with exactly needed to be done. Our project manager, Steven, and his entire crew did an amazing job. We went with Texcote (Coolwall) and are completely satisfied with the work and color palette. Our house looks beautiful and we've received multiple compliments. We will definitely be contacting GBC with any other future home improvement jobs.

Shady business practices. Lots of excuses and they do the hard sell trying to close you on the spot. They also cry poor saying their bid is only making them a tiny profit. Got 2 other bids and was significantly cheaper with contractors with far more/better reviews.

Inspector came out to our property and provided the cost and scope of the project and left us with a document. We said we would wait for the estimate to be sent via email that would also contain warranty info instead of giving them a deposit on the spot. I called them to inquire when we would receive our emailed quote with warranty info. The head marketing person seemed defensive and unprofessional instead of being helpful in answering questions.

We highly recommend GBC Remodeling! THEY WERE AWESOME! We hired GBC Remodeling to redo our roof. We had a broken skylight and when we got an estimator out to replace the skylight he advised us we had roof problems. Worst time of year going into the winter to have to replace our roof, but GBC came out right away and gave us an estimate and worked with us on scheduling to avoid the rains. Used GBC to replace our roof & install new gutters. Experience was fantastic! Very communicative staff & project manager, super clean during tear off. All questions always answered. Even worked hard to get us the color shingles we wanted. Can't say enough, I was definitely worried about the process & I'm very happy we went with GBC. After receiving several bids from competitive remodeling companies, I chose GBC to do the projects on a 1955 home. From the first contact with the office manager to the last meeting with Aaron, the owner, our experience was expedient, professional and friendly. The exterior of the house was thoroughly powerwashed, stucco refurbished and painted with Cool Wall (highly recommend). Fascia was either fixed or replaced and new windows were installed. Customized patio awnings in the backyard and over front door were installed and look beautiful!

On Friday this week the owner of the company Aaron came by to inspect our roof. he took the time to explain to us what was actually happening with our roof and why we were getting a massive leak during the storm. After going over our options and setting up having a new roof done in a few weeks, Aaron went the extra step and had his guys come by and put a tarp up to protect us from leaks during the storm that's blowing through town.

We discovered that we had a pretty bad leak in our roof during the recent rainy weeks. I went online and did a lot of research and contacted several roofing companies that seemed to have really good reviews. Since it was a Sunday, I wasn't expecting to actually be able to reach anyone.
