Freddy came by my house twice and quoted me $1,000 and when the work was done he told me it would cost more than twice as much at $2,200! We did ask him to put in some insulation in the ceiling, Had I known that, I would have done it myself. I learned a valuable lesson. Always get a written, itemized bid before choosing a contractor.
