I recommend this company 100%. The tile crew were excellent. When the work was completed I noticed a minor imperfection that bothered me. I called Kevin and he sent his people immediately to have the issue fixed. If I ever have to do any renovation project in my pool again it will definitively call them.

We're in the process of shopping for a pool renovation and have been impressed with Houston Pool Renovations. Ronnie and Brian are very knowledgeable, taught us a lot about the various options (who knew there were so many types of plaster!), and even opened their showroom for us on a Sunday. The showroom was great too! Dozens of types of plasters, deck paints, copings, and tiles. And Brian was able to bring up photos to show us what different finishes would look like in a pool. I like that they are a family-owned business and that they have been around since 1965. I feel like if we choose them

We contacted Houston Pool Renovations recently to review options on converting our 10yr old pool plaster to an aggregate finish while also repairing the hollow spots under the original plaster and removing calcium from the natural rock falls. Doug is very professional and easy work with. He provided different examples of plasters and past work that was done to provide what the pool would look like when it was finished. Exceptional with information of products and helping with mix and matching tile to go with the plaster. His team did an amazing job at out house and always left it clean. Replacing the defective pool decking is a big deal. If not done correctly, you will end up with a crummy job which does not last. Doug was real clear about what the process was and the several steps which had to be accomplished. He was also clear that my Golden Retriever would not walk on any wet or damp surface.
We had some rain delays, holiday delays (some caused by me), but they got it done pretty timely.
There were a couple of issues that the workers created; nothing horrible but annoying to me. When I wasn’t completely satisfied with the issue make rights, Doug just rolled up his sleeves

Doug and his team from Houston pool renovations came in after a failed remodel by another vendor. We were left with a big muddy pit around our pool and an uneven tile job that was just shockingly terrible. Doug's team saved our project by removing the work the previous vendor did, retiling, recoping, and placing travertine all throughout the backyard. Doug's team did in just a few weeks more than what the other vendor took several months and it looks great now. Houston Pool Renovations did everything they said they would do along the way and took excellent care of us. They cost a little more but

Based on reviews, my wife and i decided to use Houston Pool Renovations to replace our aging plaster along with our tile and pool light. We chose a plaster with quartz. Unfortunately, the plastering crew seemed to rush the job. There is a very noticeable streaking to the quartz, such that you can see the strokes the installers made and there are large areas where the quartz content is lower than the rest of the pool making it look splotchy, the floor is uneven with high and low spots to it that cast shadows on the rest of the floor when illuminated by the pool light, the walls are also uneven.
