Horrible service. Would not recommend to anyone. told I needed a new longer shaft, which was In stock. After No contact for 3 weeks. I call them and am told “we’re still pricing it out” another week goes by. tech shows up. Says I don’t need a new shaft and installs the opener normally….month after the fact. Alrdy paid $1000 Communication and customer service are non existent.

Do not use this company for garage doors. Extremely unethical. We purchased a door from them and they specifically suggested we use an industrial marine enamel as it would last longer. They even painted it in the factory. What they don't tell you, and never told us, is that painting the SteelCraft door they supplied, will void the door warranty. Now we have a door that is peeling down to bare metal and both Action Door and Steel Craft's solution is to suggest we buy a new door and that it's not their problem because the door was painted.

Messaged Action Door Boxing Day as our door and opener broke.They replied within a hour and said they would get back to us the next morning as it was Boxing Day(we did not expect them to come out Boxing Day..lol) The office called my husband the next morning and said Terry would be out to fix everything in about a hour.He got started..and it was a… mess...😬😬😬but he had the door realigned and our new opener (we had bought on Amazon) installed within 2 hours..We were so relieved as the door was stuck open for a Day/night unsecured.In the end the cost was much less than

Call on Tuesday. Given a 4 (FOUR) hour time window, sometime between 12-4, on a Wednesday. Quarter to 4 get a call he is running late, will be between 4-5. Get a call 4:45, he is on his way, will be there shortly. Shows up at my door at 5:15 and I told him it’s too late and have the manager call me. Can’t even keep a 4 hour time window and you call that service?? Then make me wait and wait some more??? My time is also valuable. Perhaps I should send a bill for my time wasted at your $95 per hour. Totally unacceptable.

We used Action Door Services to replace both the springs on our double door. It was during the February freeze and the springs just gave out in the cold. The response from Action Door Services was fast and efficient. The technician, Terry, arrived on time and in less than an hour we had a functioning door. I appreciated the speed, accuracy of the quote and timely manner in which they repaired our garage door. I would highly recommend this company for your garage door repairs.

Our garage door wasn't working for 3 weeks as they sent out 3 different technicians. They replaces our circuit board for no reason and had me drive across the city to buy a travel module to replace it myself. After all that time and replacing opener parts, they no longer returned our call.
That afternoon we called another company and they oiled the springs and reset them and completely fixed the problem on the first call.

Fantastic service received. Our garage door broke this morning. They were out within the hour, received exceptional service from Geoff and he checked everything over, greased and realigned and fixed another problem that was seen by 2 other companies since 2009 that I didn't even know could be fixed. The sales people never keep appointments and the original accepted estimate was a drive by, I didn't meet, talk to or show anyone the job. The install was scheduled repeatedly with no show after no show, always a lame excuse, always the same result, no door. I reinitiated the process again this Spring, actually met someone, set up an install date, received another estimate, accepted the estimate, called in a CC# and requested a install confirmation email/call twice.
