We hope you'll take the time to see for yourself all that we have to offer you. We welcome you to our little corner of the web! I had the emergency that every homeowner dreads- the leaking water heater! I called your office very early in the morning and was assisted in a calm and highly professional way as I was panicking.
Within an hour, I had a call back to schedule an emergency visit and in a few short hours, I had a beautiful new water heater functioning perfectly in my condo. My technician was Pete and he was EXCELLENT. This is not the first time I have used Ryan. Each and every time I have been more than satisfied but in this particular situation, I was just blown away by the service and attention I received.

M. Ryan & Co., Inc was originally established in 1949 by William F. Ryan Company. William specialized in Septic systems. William's son William M. Ryan re-established William F. Ryan and Company after his four years of service in The United States Navy as Bill Ryan & Son plumbing and heating with the acquisition of Ted Bauer Plumbing and Heating in 1977.
We realize how much your home and family mean to you. Automatic standby generators are just one more way we offer assurance they remain protected. Power outages bring potential dangers with them - freezing pipes, mold when the air conditioning goes out, loss of refrigeration, lights, and communication.
Natural gas is a convenient, versatile, and environmentally friendly fuel. It's no wonder that natural gas appliances increase the value of a home. From cozy natural gas fireplaces to low maintenance natural gas heating systems to an endless supply of hot water from a tankless natural gas water heater, natural gas has it covered.
It's estimated that 90% of homes in the US are heated using forced air. We're accustomed to noisy fans kicking on and off, being too hot upstairs and too cold downstairs, wrapping ourselves in extra layers only to strip them off a short time later, and constantly adjusting the thermostat to try and keep comfortable.

Called for emergency service and received call back right away which was a surprise. Rich Whitehead arrived shortly after to try and fix our water leak on our old house. He was neat, calm and methodical. He explained what he was doing. While problem was not yet fixed completely, he was able to prevent significant damage, gave us extra tips and seemed very knowledgeable. Recommend him and will be calling back today to follow on next steps.

BE CAREFUL:
If you're discussing a plumbing job on the phone with the front desk, the owner actually times their employees calls and caps it at around 2 minutes, even if your order is substantial (mine was around $28K). They also wanted 50% upfront before they can even confirm if the parts were in.
Take care.

This is the second time we have used Ryan Plumbing and they are batting 1.000 as far as we're concerned.
On the most recent call, the office told me someone would be here between 7:30-9:30am. Rich arrived in front of our house at exactly 7:30.
He was cordial, very knowledgeable and shared his diagnosis without making the owner (me) feel like a dummy.
We would whole heartedly for any future issues and would recommend them without hesitation.

Pete is very helpful and knowledgeable. He fixed our AC leaking problem very quickly and thoroughly. His examination is very detail oriented and he was able to patiently explain the problems and terms to me. In addition, the price is fair and Pete doesn’t push to sell any parts/service (we bought the AC/heat maintenance package anyway from Ryan Co. since we can tell from Pete’s work this would be a trustworthy company. )

Ryan & Company built our brewery from the ground up. Working closely with the GC, they literally installed every inch of pipe from the new steam boiler in the basement, to the brewhouse. They brought to us creative ways to recycle energy, such as ceiling fans for heat, and improve efficiencies within our system with additional timers and valves.
Ryan & Company installed a glycol cooling system on the roof and an extensive pipe network for cooling 11 tanks use for the CLT, fermentor and brite tanks. Everything including a new hot-water heater and extensive network of pipes for compressed air.

Been using Ryan & Co for a few years mostly for water softener maintenance. They've also been here repairing pipes with pin hole leaks as well as installing a smart thermostat. Every Ryan technician that has been to the house has been on time, courteous and has answered any question that I asked. I like that they send emails when on route with a picture of the technician that's coming. I would recommend Ryan & Co. as they have never disappointed me with their service.

My basement flooded and I lost my hot water. Pete came within a couple of hours after my call even though they were fully booked today. Turns out I needed a new hot water heater. He was able to get the new water heater and install it in a couple hours. The water also destroyed the battery back up device for my sump pump and he provided me with my options. Pete was very thorough, professional and a pleasure to do business with.

Decent service for certain things, but every time they work on a toilet, there's some kind of problem. Last time they replaced the handle on a Toto and it was wobbly. Today they changed a small rubber gasket on the bottom of the tank. It took five minutes. The part was worth about 50 cents. They wanted $215!!! I could have replaced the whole toilet for that. Too pricey. They have flat rates instead of t&m. Bad business model.

I changed my propane grill to gas but after hooking up the hose and regulator there was no gas coming into the grill. I checked all the valves and they were in the "on" position. I did a google search and found Ryan. I called on a Thursday and they scheduled me for Monday. The gentleman came out, he checked the grill and saw it was not igniting he removed the hose connector on the Gas pipe and we saw that gas was coming out. I informed him that I also had a newer connector and he said "let's try that" He put it on and low and behold we were able to ignite the grill. Job

For some reason Yelp won't let me update my original review, so I have to rewrite the whole thing. My last review was about a page and I can't copy paste, so oh well.
Update: 3/5 stars (original was 4/5 stars)
We had a forced air humidifier put in through Ryan
Ryan's prices were competitive (not cheap, not expensive).
The technician who did the work: Brian
Unit: April Air 600 (manual set, not automatic)
Overall the work was good. It was put in on 12.2016.
The only issue is they had to fix it twice now, once raj year.
The first time was 12.2017. It was minor issue with

Couldn't be more pleased with my experience. Had leaks in the bathroom going down into the ceiling of the kitchen from a bad contractor who remodeled the bathroom. Called Ryan & Company to come take a look and the owner Bill came to take a look later that day. Sent out his technician Brandon, who was at our house at 8 AM the next morning to do the repairs. After fixing the leaking shower, we decided he should check the toilet and sink as well to be safe. Sure enough they both had leaks as well, Brandon was able to fix all three leaks very quickly and even did some extra caulking to enhance

We had a disappointing experience. The plumber was very friendly, but did not totally fix our issues on first visit. When called for a second visit, he finished the repairs and didn't think we would be charged. A week later a bill arrived. When we called office staff to challenge the bill... we were laughed at. Communication should have been better at time of service, as well as over the phone. We understand the reasons for the billing, but felt taken advantage of and not valued as customers.

I use Yelp almost daily when searching for services and this is the first time I've felt compelled to leave a review. It is rare that a service provider exceeds your expectations. I've used Ryan & Co. three times now, and every single time they are more prompt, more courteous, more professional than I could possibly anticipate.
We bought an old house with radiators, baseboard, and electric heat. I've always used forced heat in the past and have never had a boiler. So I have a lot to learn. Ryan & Co. came out three times - once because the boiler was too full, another time

Just had my third service with these guys and once again everything was excellent and really felt compelled to leave a review. Having bought a house that needed a good deal of work done I have been dealing with awful contractors for close to two years now. This company is a breath of fresh air. Whenever I call the receptionist is super friendly, the guys who come are always on time, friendly and get what they need to accomplish in a short time. They've addressed both of our heating issues with no problem and on very short notice. Our tech today, Richard was outstanding and incredibly helpful

Last night, my steam boiler started running rough and giving off an odd odor, something other than a natural gas smell. After another company failed to find the problem first thing this morning and told me my chimney was likely blocked, I called Ryan and Co. after verifying myself that the chimney was clear. They came within a few hours and advised that the boiler flue passages were clogged and needed a cleaning. A few hours later, everything is working great again. Fantastic service, super fast response time (can't tell you how many places didn't even call me back), and reasonable

In response to Mr. Kevin Ryans response to my unfavorable review of his service...kevin was not present. And if the phone conversation was truly recorded by Erin, then it will be proof that she called me and started screaming at me. She should be trained on how to deal with an unjappy customer (which happens in this business) rather than to call them and start scteaming and threatening them with legal action. Bad. Very bad business practice. and your technician did NOT tell me what was wrong with the water heater and did NOT give me quote prior to making a repair. He just did it and wanted

Thoroughly impressed with Ryan & Co. Upon return from a weekend away, our furnace was out, it was cold. I called Monday morning, and they were able to get me in on the day of the call. The tech actually showed up about 5 minutes early... which, is generally unheard of. A quick assessment, explaining what he was doing the whole time, the removal of an unfortunate mouse caught in the exhaust fan, an assessment of damage (none), a reset of the system and voila... we're off. Plus, I had some wire mesh that he used to put little blocks on the input/output, helped change the humidifier as well

A small platoon of Ryan's army renovated the vent and drain for my kitchen, replacing old grody galvanized pipe that had nearly closed inside with all modern PVC. They also pulled out the big old clog-prone cast-iron trap, again PVC to the rescue. Let's just say the isht is flowing freely now!
The two men in this crew were unfailingly polite, listened to what I requested exactly as far as routing the pipe and patching the roof, did a very professional job, and even made truly serious attempts at cleaning up after themselves lol. The boss Kevin Ryan stopped by from time to time but left
